Crack pairing. Really it is. I don't write about this pairing at all. But inspiration struck me today and I wrote it out! Go me!

Lots of love, your favourite criminally insane author aka ME! XD

Disclaimer: I do own Ghost Hunt.

But sadly, only in my deranged little mind.

Sigh.

It sucks to be me.

"Y'know, Mai's been getting lots of presents lately." Ayako told Madoka as they sat in the SPR lounge, Masako sitting close by, listening broadly into their conversation.
"Really?"
"Yep. She turns up with a new necklace, she says it was a present. Same with a scarf, a ring, 2 bracelet's AND a new pair of shoes."
"You think they're from Lin?" Madoka lent forward.
They could talk about it openly here, as Mai wasn't in today and Naru and Lin were out investigating something or other. Surprisingly, they left as soon as Madoka arrived.
"Hmmm..." Ayako seemed to consider this. "I'm not sure. I mean, they're a bit to...delicate to come from him. Plus, I highly doubt that he would give her jewelery."
"Maybe Bou-san?" Madoka pondered.
"Hmmm..." The Miko seemed deep in thought. "I'm sure he sees her as a little sister. Although he does worry about her enough I suppose...but his band doesn't make that much I'm sure. This stuff is really expensive."
"So that counts out John too." Madoka sighed. It was a mystery alright. "Plus, all that stuff is really material...and he's a priest."
Saying John was a Priest seemed to count him out for everything, Masako thought with a raised eyebrow. John couldn't be giving Mai presents, he was a Priest. John couldn't have eaten the last biscuit, he was a Priest. John COULDN'T have left the toilet seat up, because, although he was the last male to use it and Mai had gone before him, he was a GODDAMN Priest.
"Yasuhara?" Madoka ventured, a frown lining her brow. "When we were doing research for the Urado case he wouldn't stop talking about her. Mind you, he wouldn't stop talking about Bou-san either..."
"Yasuhara is a definite possibility." Ayako nodded. "As is Naru. I mean, he's got the money, he's got the style, Mai's head over heels for him and he's not a Priest."

After 20 minutes of intense arguing between the two woman which was observed one rather amused medium, they had a list of reasons why it would be Naru or Yasuhara.
"It has to be Yasuhara." Madoka yelled, waving her piece of paper around. "Look at the list! They both smile a lot, they both like jasmine tea, they both have short hair! That's just a few reasons!"
"Hello, Naru is the obvious one!" Ayako scoffed brandishing her own piece of paper. "He's obviously in love with her. I mean, he hired her before she showed any psychic powers, he's got a 6th sense, smelling out when she's in trouble-"
"Smell would be one of the five senses Ayako." Masako injected in, the first thing she had said since the start of the conversation.
"And he LOVES her tea!" The 'Miko' carried on as if Masako had said nothing.
All three females looked up as the office door opened.
"Oh...hi!" Mai smiled brightly as she entered the office.
"Mai? What are you doing here?" Madoka asked shocked. "It's your day off!"
"I know but I meeting my date!"
Both woman looked at each other, eager to see who had one.
They didn't take notice that Masako had stood up.
What they did take notice off was that Masako handed Mai a small pink bear before kissing her on the cheek.
"Well, see you guys later!" Mai grinned and waved at the pair as she took the mediums hand and they strolled out the door, leaving two very confused and shocked woman in there dust.
