He couldn't tell you at first why he was upset, all Rose had said was that she wanted to go home and visit her mum. He set the coordinates for her mother's house and let her go and visit her mom claiming he had to fix something on the T.A.R.D.I.S. Rose went to her room and got her laundry basket and went to see her mum. Home that's what it was he wanted to go home it has been so long since he had seen his home planet but he couldn't go home not after what happened in the time war. Not after what he did the T.A.R.D.I.S would never be able to take him back.
So he would do what he did best he would slap on a smile and save the world with Rose, his pink and yellow human. He hoped he wouldn't lose her. She helped him so much just by being there for him. He could admit if only too himself that he was starting to fall in love with her, he also knew how stupid that was. She was only human she would grow old and die and he would stay the same unless he regenerated. He hadn't even told her about regeneration yet. What if he did regenerate and Rose didn't like the new him. No Rose wouldn't leave just because he looked different. After all he wasn't exactly pretty with his big ears and leather.
Rose came back into the T.A.R.D.I.S with her basket of clean laundry. The washing machine on the T.A.R.D.I.S was broken he meant to fix it. She came back in smiled at him and without saying anything walked up to him wrapped her arms around him in a hug. He hugged her back "what's this for then?" he asked her amused. "You just looked sad when I came in". He smiled she could always see through him. "So what were you thinking about?" "Home and how I can never go back". "Oh Doctor" she said hugging him tighter, "it's true you can't go back but you will never be homeless you will always have the T.A.R.D.I.S I don't think she will ever let you go". The T.A.R.D.I.S hummed as if to agree. He chuckled it was true the T.A.R.D.I.S had become his home he had been traveling in it for so very long. "And of course you'll always have me" He hugged her tight and wished that were true that he could keep her forever. Of course that didn't mean he couldn't enjoy the time they have together. "Thank you Rose". "No more sad faces yeah?" She said smiling at him "Yeah" I agreed she really is fantastic he thought as set the T.A.R.D.I.S coordinates for somewhere new took her hand and they ran off too their next adventure.
