Their meeting wasn't casual, nor happily inclined, however it was fated. Written in the heavens, from God's word, that he was to be the one who pulled Dean Winchester from the firey pits of Hell itself.

"Who…what ARE you?"

"I am an angel of the Lord."

"…Castiel, right?"

"That is correct."
