A/N: I had to delete the original story due to several revenge flames (you know, twelve-year-olds who flame your fics after you leave the least bit of negative criticism) left on it. Now it's back up, however, and I hope you all enjoy it (though my love of NejiTen has shrunken considerably since its first posting... hm...)
He's A Goddess, She's A God
She watched him.
He danced across the training field, the air charged with his energy.
He span and leapt, his hair flowing, his grace amazing. No being could move like him. No human could ensnare the senses so completely.
She knew he was perfect, but he was not a god. He was too perfect even for that, for gods were hard and imposing and horribly callused. He was a goddess.

He watched her.
Scrolls flew through the air. Kunai whistled past his head, colliding with bull's-eye after bull's-eye.
She moved like paint on a canvass, a scent on a breeze, a tune through the end of a flute. She never stopped, breathtakingly beautiful as she was.
He knew she was perfect, but she was not a goddess. She was too perfect for even that, for goddesses were vain and flowery and easily broken. She was a god.

He's a goddess.
x
She's a god.
End
NejiTen. Oneshot. Do not add to story alert. Please review. Purposefully repetitive.
I do not own Naruto or its characters.
