Snow...it's white...it's small...it's cold...

"It's disgusting." Said Yang

She stood on the balcony outside of her room gazing at the grey clouds up in the sky. The snow started to fall harder with each passing moment and Yang decided it was time to go inside. She shut her and locked her french doors and closed the curtains, running a hand through her short blonde hair she flopped on her bed and groaned in frustration.

"Why is it so boring here!?" She yelled as she let herself slowly fall off her bed. She jumped up and exited her room and made her way to the kitchen, where her mom was making dinner. "Hey mom."

"Hello Yang, how was your day?"

"Boring." Yang replied. "Watcha makin'?" She added after.

"Your favorite, to congratulate you on becoming a hunter." Yang looked surprised her mom never made her favorite food ever. "Sweetie have you given any thought to what kind of hunter you want to be?"

"No, I thought I would go to heavens arena and train." Yang saw her mother stiffen and she answered in a sickly sweet voice. "Oh how wonderful darling!" She started to peel the potato's in her hand more aggressively. "Mom, are you okay?"

"Just fine sweetie." Yang shifted on her chair uneasily. Mom is acting weird why?

"Here you go sweetie, potato soup just the way you like it!" Her mom said just a bit to cheerfully. Yang carefully brought the spoon to her mouth and breathed in through her nose. It doesn't smell like poison but then again it could be a tasteless smell-less poison... Yang took a small sip as her mother watched in anticipation. Come on Yang just one sip and you'll be out cold, then I'll never have to worry about you leaving me! I won't let anyone else leave therefore you can never leave the house my dear sweet Yang. Thought Yang's mother, a wicked smirk coming over her face as she watched her daughter's face fall and drop onto the table, unconscious.

"Good night my sweet Yang." as soon as the door shut and her mothers footsteps faded away, Yang sat up quietly and rubbed her sore neck. "Man shes crazier than I thought." Yang quickly grabbed a bag from her closet and packed the essentials: Tooth brush, tooth paste, deodorant, extra clothes, hair brush, hair ties, socks and shoes. Yang froze in her tracks a she heard her door open. "Oh sweetums~' Her mother called but stopped as she saw her daughter up. Yang looked like a deer caught in headlights. Yang felt her instincts telling her to run and she did just that. Yang bolted outside to her balcony and jumped off landing in the snow and ran. She ran and ran until her legs felt numb and even then she kept pushing herself to the limit. She ran until she couldn't run and collapsed on the ground in exhaustion. "I have...to keep...go-" Yang's world went black as she passed out.
