There was a knock at the door. Toriel looked down at Frisk, a huge smile on her face.

"Are you ready, my child?" She asked. Frisk grinned back and answered the knock at the door with her own.

"Hey, that isn't how it's supposed to work!" a voice came from the other side of the door. "You're supposed to say 'who's there?'!"

Toriel smirked down at Frisk, who just knocked on the door again.

"Fine, Frisk! Who's there?"

Frisk looked up at Toriel, their fingers flying in a collection of sign language words.

"Interrupting cow!" Toriel finally said, interpreting their signs.

Sans, sitting outside the door, rolled his eyes. "Interrupting cow who?"

"Moo!" Toriel said after a while. "Oh. Wait."

Inside, Frisk signed, exasperated. You were supposed to interrupt him! You're the interrupting cow!

"Well that was rude, Frisk," Toriel said, a tiny smile on her face. Frisk smiled back, signing something along the lines of you're not a cow.

Outside, Sans knocked on the door. "Knock knock, Frisk!"

Who's there?

"Who's there?" Toriel called.

"Sam!"

Sam?

"Sam who?"

"Sam skeleton who knocked last time!"

Frisk and Toriel snickered and opened the door, Sans opening his arms to hug Frisk. The sunlight streamed through the open door.

You're such a bonehead, Frisk signed. Sans gave them a noogie.

"You're one to talk, kid!"

Toriel and Sans exchanged a quick kiss on the cheek and Frisk silently covered thier eyes, peeking through them with tiny smile.

Everyone was finally happy.
