My eyes opened when I heard a rustling beside me. I watched as Luka pulled the comforter further off of me and wrap it around her body as she snuggled against it. I smiled at her insane cuteness, and once I was sure she was still asleep, I stretched and got out of bed. I shuffled over to the mirror; my short teal hair was a semi-organized mess. I pulled on some pajama bottoms and walked down the hall to the kitchen. As I began to cook breakfast (bacon, eggs, pancakes, and biscuits because nothing is too good for my Luka), I turned on my stereo and hit shuffle. I made sure that the volume would not wake Luka. "Magnet" came on and at once I started dancing around the kitchen.
"Pulling apart our intertwined fingers,
moving from our lips to our tongues,
what we're doing do might be unforgivable,
and that's precisely why we're so fired up"
My heart fluttered as I softly whispered the lyrics, thinking of my beautiful fiance, Luka. She takes my breath away whenever she walks into a room. She cared for me when no one else did. I consider myself the luckiest guy alive, because I get to spend my life loving the kindest and most beautiful girl in the world. I poured some pancake batter onto a skillet and threw a few pieces of bacon on a frying pan. The beat of the music had me moving effortlessly around the kitchen.
I moved a vase of pink roses (Luka's favorite) onto the table, and lit some pink candles. Napkins folded and in place, candles romantically flickering, plates and silverware all set up the way Luka likes it...perfect. Bacon and pancakes in position on plates, butter and syrup out, eggs and hot biscuts with honey ready to be served...Luka will love this.
"What has been repeating is not our dream,
but the unmistakably realistic "we."
I know as soon as we touch, we can't turn back,
but that's fine, for you're my one and only love."
We were sitting in our apartment, the first night we had moved in together. It had gone so fast that we had barely had time to eat. I made this exact meal; breakfast for dinner, Luka's favorite. I had this exact kind of flowers in the exact same vase. Right before we started eating we smiled at each other. I told her to close her eyes. When I gave her the "ok" to open them, she found me beside her on one knee.
"Megurine Luka, will you marry me?" My eyes glistened with hope.
"Yes!" She squealed, throwing her arms around me and knocking me back onto the floor. That was the best night of my entire life, and it was only two months ago. Now I had the whole rest of my life to fill with passionate nights with Luka. I shuttered with happiness from the thought.
Now I poured two hot cups of fresh coffee into our "Mr. and Mrs." cups (a reminder of what was to be), and tiptoed back to our room. Luka was already awake, and planted a kiss right on my nose as I walked in. I handed her a mug of coffee and led her out to the table.
"Oh my god...it's just like the night...when you..." tears welled up in her eyes and she jumped into my arms. "I love you Hatsune Mikuo" she smiled, wiping her eyes.
My heart soared. "That's all I've ever wanted to hear."
