Hey guys!
Got another fanfiction I'm trying to hunt down, and since you guys were SO brilliant helping me find Going Home, by samcamstargate1 (read it if you haven't, it's brilliant) I thought, maybe you fabulous people could help me out again!
The fanfiction I'm looking for is a Labyrinth fanfiction. The pairing is Sarah/Jareth (um, duh). It takes place in this adaptation of the Underground, where humans are basically like the dirt on the shoes of everyone else. Sarah and her dad own this little restaurant/bar thing for magical creatures. Jareth comes in one night and sits down at the bar and orders a drink. When it is placed in front of him, Sarah all of a sudden freaks out and knocks the drink over, and everyone is like Oh. My. Frick. Until she goes, it was poisoned! And sure enough, the drinks been spiked with iron. So, Jareth gives her some money and promises her a favour, and then leaves.
Later that night, this half-man, half-wolf-or-lion (can't remember which) comes in and burns the place down. I think (emphasis on think, meaning I`m not sure, guys) his name is Bud.
So Sarah`s family dies in the fire, and Sarah`s all alone. Then, she goes to the Goblin King`s palace, hoping he can help her out, what with her having saved his life earlier in the evening. He employs her as a serving maid...
And that is all I can remember. Wow. You`d think with that much information you`d be able to hunt down a fanfiction pretty quickly wouldn`t you? But no. I've been at this for days and nada. Zippidy doo da. And now I'm turning to you wonderful people for help. Please don't let me down and not review if you think you know what I'm talking about.
