Coraline-Peter Pan Crossover preview
Wow, I've only seen one other person come up with an idea like this! This is going to be a great story. Of course, before we get too excited about The Boy who would Never grow up, and The Girl who played with Buttons crossing paths, a few points must be made in terms of what to expect.
First and foremost, this will not be a love story. Yes, I know, Peter and Coraline are boy and girl, but you've got to look at the bigger picture. Both are about 12, not 18. Peter thinks of his relationship with both Wendy and Tink as a son to mother relationship. Finally, I don't know much about writing a love story, and in my current state of knowledge, any love story I would make would be too weak. I figure I'd better experience a feeling of true love before I write about it. If you want a PeterxCoraline story, write it yourself.
Additionally, I'm sorry for any fans of Captain Hook because he will not have that big of a role in this story. He does appear in the second half trying to capture Peter Pan (again), but he will be overshadowed even as a villain because, let's face it, he needs help catching Peter
Finally, while these two kids' characters are the main part of this crossover, there will be a character from a third source. I won't tell you who this is, but I will tell you that she (yes, it's a girl) is from a video game. That's pretty vague though, and if you can successfully guess who she is, you will deserve a million dollars (though you're not getting it, because my family is only worth about one-tenth that amount.
Okay, with that out of the way, if you have not seen the 1953 Disney Movie "Peter Pan", I strongly suggest that you do so before reading this fanfiction. By the way, I've made fanfictions for both Coraline and Peter Pan with me as a filmmaker, I suggest you read those stories as well (by the way, if you want to search by genre, the genres of these stories are Humor/Adventure). My crossover story will start on May 6, 2011, so mark your calendars for this date. I'll see you again in three weeks.
