Mason blamed Parrish at first. This was all because of the burns. It had ruined Corey's confidence. It would destroy anyone. But Corey was still breathing. Every-day Mason had been grateful that Corey was still alive, still smiling and still by his side. The Jealousy crept in little by little. He knew that he had nothing to worry about. But Corey didn't want him hanging around the pack as much. As the weeks went on, Liam became a huge problem.

"I see the way he looks at you Mason...it's creepy"

"He's my friend. Corey I can't believe you'd even think that" Mason said.

He wrapped his arms around him. Corey would kiss his neck and apologise, but Mason knew that it would happen over and over again.

He just never thought that it would turn physical.

He knew that he'd get a ball-busting when he got back. One night he spent most of the evening with Liam. Corey was getting lonlier by the second and "Halo" excuses just weren't going to cut it. He walked in, he could hear him in the kitchen. The sound of the knife against the chopping board. He walked in and stayed as far away from him as possible.

"Have a great time with your Bestie?" Corey said, his words scaring his Boyfriend to the bone.

"Well we're...You know...just Gaming"

"Oh really, no Brett this evening?" Corey asked.

Mason laughed, catching the angry glance of Corey who put the knife down. He always thought he calm down Corey when he was talking about Liam. Himself and Liam having a relationship was ridiculous. He was a best buddie, a Confidant, almost like a Supernatual "Brother from another Mother. It was easy to laugh it off.

But Brett...Brett was the tall Brooding cynical Private schooled hottie that Mason had been dreaming about since the first time he saw him. He hadn't seen Brett that much, recently. For Corey sake he'd kept it that way.

"I'm beat, I'm going to bed" Mason said walking out of the kitchen.

"Bed? Back to dreams of Brett in our bed?"

"Corey. Stop seriously, this paranoia is making you sound crazy. How long were you under Theo's spell? Have I ever suspected you?" He asked.

"How is that the same Theo isn't Brett?" Corey asked.

"Corey...Theo's hot. Brett's hot. And you and me... We're both still together trying to make this work" Mason told him.

He watched Corey clap and wave an accusationary finger at him. "So you think Brett's hot?" He asked. Walking over to him.

"I'm going to bed" Mason begins walking away, but in a flash, Corey was in front of his face with clenched fists.

"How long have you been fucking Brett?" Corey said.

He can't believe his long-term Boyfriend has just asked him that. The distrust angers him.

Mason clicked his knuckles. How long?...let me think...Weeks! Months! It's not true but it's what you wanna hear isn't it? Why not right? He's tall tanned and Handsome. Why wouldn't I fuck him? He's the hottest Guy I've ever seen. Are you Happy now?" Mason asked.

At the speed of light, Corey tackled him to the floor. Mason tried to cover himself up, but that didn't stop the pain as Corey hit his upper body, reigning down shots at his chest.

"You piece of shit!" Corey yells.

He pulls Mason's hand away from his face, he raised his fist and punched his Boyfriend in the face. Mason groaned in agony as he felt the knuckle jab his eye.

Startled by the yell of pain Corey gets up quietly. He goes upstairs and Mason knows that he'll have locked the door. It's what he does.

Half of his face feels like it's glowing in pain. He picks himself up. He goes to the Key drawer and grabs a pair of sun-glasses. There's only one place that he can go now. There's only one person that he can talk to...

But it can't be Liam...
