A/N: Hello, my dear readers. How I promised- I wrote a sequel to 'The monster inside me' , not my best story, but, eh.
Someone like him
Mabel got up on her feet and wiped the tears from her face. She missed him. She missed her brother. She wished she could have him back. She wished she could look into his damp brows eyes. She wished she could move her fingers through his hair. She wished she could hug him. And say 'sorry'. But it was too late. She could buy a clock. She could move the clock's tongues. But she couldn't do a thing. She couldn't get back in time. She sobbed one more time then she left the old house she used to live in.
Mabel went at a restaurant. Every friend of Mabel knew that, when she was crying she was getting hungry, but now it was worse. She was starving. She looked on the menu. There were lots of delicious and sophisticated food. The images made Mabel almost drooling. She came back to reality when a man dressed in suit came next to her.
''Ahem, Miss?'' The man asked.
''Oh, I am sorry.'' Mabel said.
''Do you want to order?'' He raised a brow.
''Well, yes. I think I'll have a plate of spaghetti with tomato sauce.'' She pointed to the colorful image from the menu.
''Do you want something to drink, Miss?'' He said for the last time.
''Just a glass of mineral water. Thank you.'' She said as she was arranging the napkin on the red velvet covered table. After she said that the waiter left.
Mabel stared to an empty, porcelain plate. She couldn't turn her face away.
''Hungry! Hungry! Hungry!''
She let some tears to stream on her face. She swallowed them. She felt their taste. Bitter. Like her life.
''Hungry! Mummy, daddy, I am hungry!''
She took a deep breathe and then she wiped her wet eyes.
''Mummy!'' A little boy said.
''Yes, Dipper?'' His mum replied
''I am hungry!'', he turned to his sister, ''Mabel also. We're starving.'' He said.
''Patience, Dipper. You will need this when you'll grow up.'' His mum smiled. Dipper turned to Mabel and said something to her.
''Mabel?''
''What?'' The girl asked.
''When I will grow up, I'll get a good job and share my money with you.'' The boy replied.
''No, you won't. You lie.'' She elbowed him playfully. ''Liar!'' She began to tickle him. Dipper laughed and laughed. He felt like he was a time bomb, going to explode in every moment.
''Kids, stop.'' Their mum calmly said.
''Okay.'' They said in unison.
''Mabel, you're the best sister- I've ever had.'' After he said that, he hugged Mabel so tight, so she couldn't breathe for a second. His sister smiled.
''I am the only sister you have.''
''I know that, but you're the best. I love you- I love you- I love you- I love you- I-'' Those words were echoing in Mabel's head. She hated so badly those three words. 'I love you.' Anytime someone said that to Mabel- later something bad she had a boyfriend. Mabel loved him really much. She could do anything for him. He was the reason she was happy. She was happy for him. Just for him. But inside she was dying a little bit. Some months later she found out that he cheated her. And that he was going to marry with a girl. Her smile was vanished by tears. She felt her dreams turning to dust. The happiness slowly disappearing. The nightmare was going to begin. She felt worthless. She wished she could die. She wished she could leave the world and make everyone happy. She wished her brother back.
A/N: Bleh. I don't like how this story ended up. Maybe the title let you a bit confused. But it's going to get sense in the next chapters! :) Keep reading! XOXO, Kitty Cat. Meow.
