"Fine!" Leah snapped "You want me to jump of a cliff? I will!"
And then she was off, running as if trying to be the wind, flowing and soothing but deadly and raging.
"What?" She heard him call "Leah? No, no i didn't meanthat!" his voice was lost to her as she ran but she noticed when he shifted and ran after her. In wolf form she was always faster, in human form she was faster then the other boys in human form but when she was human and he was werewolf man, they were tied.
Leah didn't gain any ground but then, neither did Jacob.
When she didn't slow down even a little, Jacob started to really worry. He honestly hadn't meant to say what he Had said, he really hadn't, it had slipped past his guard and passed his lips.
He let out a terrable roar as Leah flung herself over the edge of the cliff, instantly he transformed back and dived in after her.
They hit the water, him slightly before her and went under. Jacob scanned the water, looking out for Leah's black hair, swishing with the oull of the tide. When he saw it, he swam as much and as fast as he could, grabbing onto the tops of her arms and yanking her to the top of the water.
"DON'T DO THAT AGAIN!" Jacob yelled, a tear dripping down his chin to meet the frothy salty waters below them. "oh, Leah, please, please don't do that, i didn't...i didn't mean it, not at all!"
Leah didn't have the strength to do anything apart from let him hold her.
