The declaration of independence, think I could tell you that first sentence and then I'm lost
I can't begin to count the theories, I've had pounded in my head that I forgot I don't remember all that Spanish, or the Gettysburg address
But there is one speech from High School, I'll never forget
"Derek, it'll be fine. Dad's just overprotective since he's a hunter and all." Stiles said for the millionth time to his boyfriend. "And besides, he's not one to judge if I date a werewolf or not considering he's married to an angel. So just don't let him get to you and you'll be fine." He said with a smile as he tugged on Derek's hand. When they got to the door Derek was the one knocking, and squeezed Stiles' hand to the part where Stiles swore he heard bone cracking but didn't mention it. When Dean opened the door he gave Derek a forced smile.
"Come on in boy sit on down and tell me 'bout yourself." He said, motioning inside. Derek gave Stiles one last panicked look before going to the living room and sitting down in the couch. Stiles chuckled at him before going to the kitchen to catch up with his pop. Dean sat down on the coffee table in front of Derek and stared him down for a while before speaking again.
"So you like my sondo you now?" He asked with a half-grin. Derek nodded jerkily.
"Yes sir, I do." He said. Dean chuckled.
"No need to call me sir. Just know that we think he's somethin' else. He's a daddy's boy, his pop's world. He deserves respect, that's what he'll get, now ain't it son? Now y'all run along and have some fun. I'll see ya when you get home bet I'll be up all night, still cleaning this gun." Dean said, motioning to the gun he had been cleaning.
Well now that I'm a father, scared to death one day my daughter is gonna find
That teenage boy I used to be, that seemed to have just one thing on his mind
She's growing up so fast it won't be long before, I'll have to put the fear of god into some kid at the door
Yeah come on in boy sit on down and tell me 'bout yourself
So you like my daughter do you know, yeah we think she's something else
She's a daddy's girl her momma's world, she deserves respect that's what she'll get, now ain't it son? Now y'all go out and have some fun, and I'll see ya when you get back probably be up all night, still cleaning this gun
Dean laughed at the slightly panicked look in the normally calm eyes.
"Now it's all for show ain't nobody gonna get hurt. It's just a daddy thing and hey, believe me. Man it works." He said with a grin.

Dean laughed. Under the small time they had talked Castiel and Stiles had gone out to the living room and Stiles was standing next to his boyfriend.
"Eh son, now you'll buckle up and have him back by ten. Uh, let's say 'bout nine. Thirty. Drive safe." He said, quickly adding thirty after seeing the glare he got from both his son and husband. Stiles smiled at him.
"We'll probably be back around eleven or so." He said cheekily before practically dragging Derek out of the house and to the car.
