The eerie moon was shining down on me. Its ghostly light dancing on my face.
'I brace myself under the moon
waiting for the coming doom.
I know that my end is near
But with you at my side I have nothing to fear.'
"I know what's coming", I mumbled. "But do you?"
'One fateful day I was born
One fateful day I die
One fateful day I reawaken
And into your arms I cry.
Tears of memorises, of painful times
Tears of a forgotten past
I lay weeping in your presence
Oh mighty loving Dragon
Who knows how long this moment last?'
"Oh Van…"
'Then destiny calls out to me
Embracing me in its warmth
So with courage in my soul, I move on
Flying in the open air, I am free
Free of the burden
I once carried on my wings
Free of those regretful times
My faithful Dragon King.
My destiny to find the one
The slayer of the dragons
Hatred burns within his heart
And darkness in his presence.'
"My purpose is almost complete…and so is yours…" I whisper to the silent wind.
'But I must find this one
And aid him in his journey
Journey to rebirth
Or journey to destruction'
"How will all this end? Will we succeed in bringing peace to Gaea?"
'I must help him find his heart
Before his mission falls apart
So I must find this one

"Oh Van…" I murmur. "Come back to me… safely…"
