Okay, so during class I was going to try and write the rest of my next chapter for Autobots vs. football but I got sidetracked and started to think about all the old shows I used to watch as a kid. And I'll admit I loved to watch digimon. And for some reason I got to thinking about what would've happened if good didn't win. I believe that happy ending can occur but I really don't believe in the magical happy ending where all the problems are resolved. LIFE ISN'T LIKE THAT! And that Is why you will never get a story out of me with the "And they lived happily ever after…" from me. NEVER!
Disclaimer: I don't own crap. Except for the above rant.
It was funny really. How hard they had tried. But their efforts had been for naught. And now as I sit here on my throne, only three digidestined remained. Although by now they wished that they had not survived their horrors. Tai had been one of the first to go after the children had been captured. The once fearless leader had been reduced to tears after we had sacrificed his sister. The little child of light was the first on the list to destroy. She made them strong, and without her all of them would despair.
Light, Courage, Sincerity, Reliability, and Wisdom had all been destroyed. I savored Sincerity's the most I'll admit. The annoying little girl had the voice of a thousand nails on a chalkboard. We buried her alive in a pink coffin. All of their deaths had been a little ironic, by no accident. Mimi: Buried alive. Kari: Thrown into the Dark Ocean as a present to the dark beings inside. Tai: Burned alive in a fire that Agumon had started. Joe: Encased in a tank full of water. His tank-mates? Three starved Divermon. And Izzy: Beaten to death with his own laptop. Not quite as inventive as the others, but Puppetmon wasn't known for having been a very elegant executions.
We chose to let the bearers of hope, love and friendship live for different reasons. Puppetmon had permanently turned TK into a living puppet for his games. Machinedramon had needed a new lab rat so he kept Matt alive for his experiments. And Love, poor little Love, was our favorite to torment. Love, the greatest power, has fallen to darkness and she could do nothing to get back out. Sora's will had broken long ago when she witnessed her friends' murders. But now Matt will have to pass soon. The three remaining crest bearers had a special bond which needed to be ripped apart.
The obvious bond was that TK and Matt were brothers who had been torn apart, brought back together to fight evil, and now would be forever separated. A wonderful tragedy. But beside that we noticed that Sora was the one that kept the two going when they couldn't support themselves. But this bond would be so very easy to break. We would kill Sora, but I'm afraid none of us had yet tired to playing with her until she truly cracked. And their partners couldn't save them even if they'd wanted to. The dead tell no tales and they can't stop us. Absorbing their data had been a perk as well. And though we'd destroyed that nursery again we had made sure that this time there would be no coming back for any of them.
But for now let them think they are safe. And when the time comes I'm sure the other masters will destroy their playthings. They always do.
Because we are The Masters.
Obey or perish.
I'm quick just going to submit this and come back to smooth over the edges becasue I have to go to work now. BYE!
