"Joe, quit your complaining and go down to fix the pipes. We don't need a flood down there," Chief Engineer Samuel Deker yelled at his co-worker. "But, the stories, I'm just-" Joe was cut off. "Get down there now! I've got to work on getting power back to Alpha Labs." Power had been going out in the Alpha Labs once or twice every week, and Samuel was the one who was assigned to the task of getting the power back on. "Fine." Joe started to walk away, grabbing his toolbox on the way out. "I don't care what Samuel says, these people talking about hearing things. One even saw something, and backed into the Elemental Phase Deconstructor. I'm glad I wasn't there to witness it, or I might've killed myself. From what I heard, it was pretty nasty, and even though the back of his head was missing, he still was alive…" Joe thought. He stopped to get a drink from the Thirsty Burst vending machine. A man walked past him, and was shaking his head, holding his hands over his ears, and talking to himself. "Get out of my head!" the man screamed, then ran the way Joe had just came. "Oh no, that guy is hearing things, the rumors were true.!" Joe thought.

Joe walked with a quickened pace, but stopped when he saw Dr. Betruger, talking to someone. "What's Dr. Betruger talking to him for? Who is he? Why does he seem to be making Dr. Betruger mad?" He continued his quickened walk, passing the Transfers desk, "Here is your Personal Data Assistant…" he heard the man behind the desk say, talking to a new transfer from Earth. He walked through the door behind the transfer, and looked to his right. The door to the Lower Levels opened. A young woman ran out. "Joe, come on! The whole area down here is being flooded!" the woman yelled. Joe ran through the hallway and down the steps. He saw that security cabinet 001 was open, but nothing was missing, and closed it. He ran to the ladder on his right, and climbed up it, with the girl behind him. Joe went through the vent, and into the hallway, which was slowly filling up with water. Joe realized that the pipes had been behind a wall panel, but he couldn't see it. "Where's the wall panel that covered the pipes?" he asked. "Underwater somewhere, the girl said. Joe waded over towards the pipes. He noticed that two pipes were barely connected, and pulled a monkey wrench out of his toolbox( it's a big toolbox ), and slowly connected the pipes, using many different tools. He had just gotten done, when the room shook. "What was that?" the girl asked.
