A/N: Hello everyone! So for those of you that have read 'The Unexpected', this is a one-shot of Zoë's POV when Francis tells her he loves her. Enjoy and please review! :D

Just to spite Francis, I tapped my fingers against the window. I could tell he was trying to ignore it but eventually he would get annoyed. Teasing Francis is such fun!

"Can you stop that?" yelled Francis. Well, I didn't expect him to be that upset.

I decided to play it cool.

"Stop what?" I asked in my most innocent of innocent voices.

"Tapping on the window!" He was still yelling but I figured he was just playing along like all our other meaningless arguments.

"Oh, you mean like this?" I tapped on the window again. I couldn't help myself.

"Yes, that!"

He should have known better. Now I had the perfect opportunity.

"Yes? You want me to keep tapping on the window? Fine by me!" I smiled mischievously.

"Ugh, Zoë, why do you have to do that?" He grumbled. Honestly, what is his problem?

"You could ask politely." This was usually how we ended our arguments, by one of us giving in.

"No." What? Did he just say 'no'? Yes, yes he did. Two can play this game.

"Well then you have no room to complain."

He mumbled something under his breath that sounded like "Miff lake choo"

"What?" I asked.

"I said I hate you!" he practically yelled at me.

I noticed that Francis suddenly went very pale but I didn't care. I was too focused on trying not to cry. He didn't mean that, did he?

"Zoë… I… I didn't mean that… I'm sorry." He moved closer to try and hug me. I shoved him away.

"No! Don't try and hug me! You hate me, remember?" My voice cracked slightly at the end but I didn't much care.

"I didn't mean it, Zoë! I just got frustrated is all! Please, say you'll forgive me?" I could hear the pleading in his voice but I was still so upset to forgive him.

"Why should I? If that's how you really feel then there's nothing to apologize for." He really likes pushing it to the limit doesn't he?

"But I don't hate you!" Yeah, right. Just because I'm blonde doesn't make me an idiot.

"Well I need to get my hearing checked then."

"Why won't you believe me?"

"Because you're the one that said it, genius!"

"I do not, in any way, hate you, Zoë."

"I don't believe you."

"I love you Zoë!"

He didn't just say that, did he? I'm just imagining things, right?

"What?"

"Erm…"

Wow, Francis, way to make things awkward…
