Letting a Slytherin Mend a Broken Heart by HPFangirl71
Harry was devastated, his entire body racked with sobs. He had taken a real risk by proposing to his boyfriend here, at the Ministry luncheon, in front of all his friends and family. It was here that he'd found out that the man he'd loved had only been using him. Had only been dating him for the spotlight that forever surrounded him since Voldemort's death. He couldn't believe how stupid he'd been, how easily he had been fooled.
He heard the soft footsteps from behind and turned to see Draco Malfoy standing there, watching him.
"What do you want Malfoy? Come here to gloat have you!" he yelled at the handsome blonde.
"Actually, as the cunning Slytherin I am, I just had to take advantage of this opportunity arising." he replied in that cool regulated tone of his.
"Well I won't give you the opportunity to ridicule me this time, so leave." Harry retorted.
"That's not what I came here for. I came here to pick up the pieces."
Harry looked at him with a thoroughly confused look on his face. He wasn't sure what Malfoy was up to but he was quite certain it couldn't be good.
"The pieces of what exactly?" Harry questioned him.
"Why your poor Gryffindor heart of course, that's what I plan to mend the broken pieces of." he stated in a matter of fact tone.
"Exactly how do you plan to do that?" Harry asked nervously.
"Like this…" he whispered as his lips pressed down upon Harry's lips.
Although, Harry shocked by the kiss he found he was soon returning it. Their lips melded together perfectly and he didn't even care it was Malfoy he was kissing. Getting over the heartbreak wasn't going to be easy but perhaps Malfoy's company would ease the fall.
