So, this is my first post here! It's called Let Me In (yeah, I guess you can see that...) and I'll explain it at the end for those who may not get this...so, read on!

Let me in

Late at night

When the moon shines bright

You will find

Him sitting confined

In his prison

Of sorrow and guilt

That he has built

For himself.

Wrapped in a blanket of self,

He sits staring

Out the window

And back is glaring

…himself?

"Let me in,"

Pleads he who looks like him,

"Open the window,

End your sin."

But he looks away.

He doesn't listen.

So he fades away

From what he could've been.

"Do you see what you're missin'?"

He begins again,

"Do you see what you've lost?

What you've cost

Those you love?

Fly like a dove

On away from here.

Fly on above,

For there's no other cure.

Seek out the love

Of the Father,

Who helps you go farther,

And finish the race

Of life."

Click, click…

He unlocks the window

And tugs it open,

For once you've heard truth

You know the way you could've been

Back then

And you can't return

To sin.

So, explanation:

This is about what sin does to ya' and if you don't let God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit in you can't escape it. You can dream of what you 'could've been back then' and look longingly at it, (looking out the window), but ultimately you can't get to that without them. Until you let them in, you're gonna' remained trapped in yourself. And once you let them in, you can't exactly kick them out. So you can't return to sin!

This is just how I see it, I suppose. Please R&R!! Flames will be used to fire up my imagination! Thank you, and I have an actual story coming soon (I hope...)!!! Love to all, and especially Kami and His Son! Arigatou to ato de aimasho!!
