Science Class
PART ONE -
Dreambrook Highschool, 2014
Mrs Cloudsten performed her morning routine, calling out the register, going through fire drills, writing a pointless quote on the board from a writer nobody knew or cared about, Aaron looked round the class in a tired daze, but noticed one girl listening to the teacher specifically and nodding with every word, finally noting down the quote in her notebook. Thats odd, He thought, Nobody EVER cared about what the teacher was saying.
Then it hit him, he had never seen this girl before, was she new? The teacher hadn't announced her, where had she come from?
"Now class, I would like you all to give a warm welcome to our newest student, Heather Dunnet!", the teacher said in her monotone voice.
Everyone gave an unemotional "Welcome heather", aaron tried to put a warmness in his, she even looked his direction when he did and he quickly darted his eyes to the front.
What was he doing?! Did he? Was he? Barely forming a coherant thought, Aaron twiddled his thumb and looked at the girl from the corner of his eye, she was at the desk right next to his, surely she noticed. He looked at her again. His eyes widened Oh my gosh He thought, She's.. well she's he paused, unable to process what he saw before him
Beautiful. The thought crashed through his mind like lightning as he realised he was staring at her. He turned away, but too late she was looking right back at him.
The bell rang and everyone got up and out of class. Aaron met his friends in their usual place in the canteen, but he saw the girl, sitting alone in the corner of the hall, acting out of himself for once, he went over to her, sat down, and introduced himself.
