A young girl walked up to the main doors. Her long black hair was silky and her deep blue eyes were scanning the area. People were looking at her. Her cheeks turned pink as she walked in the school. It was huge. She listened as she heard people talking about her.
"A commoner? How rare..."
"We should put her in her place."
"I don't understand how commoners are allowed in Ouran."
Her eyes fell, but she kept her chin up as she walked into the school. Her name is Kasai Mikomi. She's 17, and is new to Ouran high. Though, until 7 years ago, she lived in Ouran.
FLASHBACK
Kasai looked down at her feet as they walked in the Ootori's doors. Kyouya went over to Kasai. "Hey, Kasai-chan, how are you?" Kasai merely whimpered and clung to her mother's leg. Her mother sighed softly and looked down at Kyouya. "We have to move," she said softly. "My husband..got sick, and he might not make it. He wants to see the world during his last few years."
Kyouya nodded and sighed. "I'm sorry, Kasa-chan." he said softly.
"Kyou-kun.." Kasai whispered, her small body shaking. "I'll miss you."
END FLASHBACK
Kasai was back now. Her father was gone, and she lived with her mother in an apartment they could barely afford. Her mother is running out of money, and she hasn't found a job yet. It's only a matter of time when they get kicked out. But Kasai forced herself not to think of that. Instead, she remembered her old friend, Kyouya.
FLASHBACK
Kasai's 8 year old self was crying. Loudly. Little Kyouya was throwing a fit. Kyouya pulled Kasai's hair, and then she tripped and hit her head against the coffee table, causing her to cry. Kyouya offered to help, but Kasai kept pushing him away, which made him start to yell. Kasai's mother went downstairs, and just laughed. It happened a lot between them. She wondered how they could argue so much, but still be the best of friends. She got the both of them to calm down and start to play again.
END FLASHBACK
Kasai smiled to herself. She wondered if Kyouya was still here, in Ouran. Hopefully at the school. She looked around, now wanting to look for him. But...what if he doesn't like her anymore? She used to be so rich. Her family was close to the Ootoris. They were the second most powerful family in Ouran, but then they went all the way down to commoners, because their money was drained on traveling and all the things they tried to do with her dad to keep him alive. It didn't work, and they were so poor. But she still was Kyouya's best friend. Hopefully he wouldn't totally push her away.
By the end of the day, Kasai had no luck in finding her friend. She sighed, and then walked around the school, wanting to be alone for a while before she goes back home. She found a door labled 3rd Music Room, and opened the door.
One person caught her attention.
"Kyouya...."
