The penguins landed at the bottom of the hill, coming to a sudden stop and throwing their riders into a snowbank. Aang stood first, then helped Katara up as she dusted herself off.
"That was fun!" he said. "You wanna go again?"
"I think I need a rest," Katara panted. Snowflakes clung to her hair, strands were coming loose from her braid, and she did look a little exhausted.
But even that couldn't dull the radiance of her smile, and the shine of her eyes.
"All right," Aang said. "Katara? I'm really glad I met you, you're fun to play with."
"Me too, Aang." She moved closer, laying her hand over his. He could have sworn he felt his heart skip a beat, but it was probably his imagination.
