Misaki never needed proof that Usagi-san truly loved him, and that Misaki wasn't some fling, or a rebound from his ten-year love heartbreak. Because when he sat down and honestly thought about it, it just wasn't possible.

He attempted to cook meals for Misaki on very special occasions. The first time that they had sex, he tried to make fluffy omelets for him. Or when Misaki worked extremely hard on his studies, that last week right before finals, when all he did was stare at textbook after textbook, Usagi-san was there, forcing him to take breaks to eat and stretch.

He'd dry his hair for him, after Misaki would come running home, soaked by the unexpected rain. He'd be there, standing, waiting, towel in hand. Or when he had that horrible fever, and came stumbling out of the bathroom, eyes dizzy and unfocused.

When they had sex, Usagi-san would hold Misaki's hand, his large cool hand cradling Misaki's small shaking one. He'd tenderly embrace him, murmuring sweet words to the boy, delivering his feelings through kisses hot and fiery.

After sex, he would lay there hugging the boy to his chest, stroking his hair, quietly watching him as he slept. Once he awoke, he'd be greeted by a kiss on the forehead, or a loving "Good Morning."

He'd get jealous and overprotective when he felt that someone was coming on to him, and wasn't afraid to show it.

He protected Misaki from many things. He helped him with his financials, studies, and would always listen to his troubles. He wouldn't let Misaki worry about anything, always taking care of his problems and guarding the boy.

If a special occasion for Misaki was coming up, he would finish all his work beforehand, and leave time in his busy schedule just for Misaki. He always left time for Misaki, no matter what.

He truly treasured the boy, and sometimes Misaki felt very precious and wondered how he could return such wonderful, loving feelings. And so he tried. He told the man he loved him, even though he was embarrassed and stuttering like a broken record. Occasionally, (after he mustered the courage to do so) he would kiss Usagi-san on his own, because it made him happy, and when Usagi-san was happy, he was truly happy.

No, Misaki did not doubt Usagi-san's feelings for him. Neither did Usagi-san doubt Misaki's. There were no uncertainties. Just simple, tender love.

AN: Wow, that was cheesy. And very bad. Excuse my bad writing, I've been out of practice, and I'm repeating myself WAY too much here. Gee, think I can use another word besides 'when'?

Anyways, blame Sean for this one. He wouldn't let me sleep until I wrote this. I was reading the manga for this (finished all translated 11 volumes in two days. Hah!) and just started watching the anime. This thing here is kinda like a collection of all Akihiko does for Misaki.

So there you go. As always, review, don't review, I don't care. Sean here always appreciates the love, but that's just because he's attention deprived.

Savvy?
