Santana left the choir room with her cool girl composition,
"Just make it out the door and around the corner San. You can do this. Quinn doesn't need them. Neither do you."
She told herself. She could feel the eyes boring into her back as she left but she refused to look back. She didn't want to give off the appearance she was weak or that she needed them, but mostly she didn't want to have to face Brittany's sad, concerned eyes. She wouldn't be able to keep it together. She made it all the way to her locker by the time the bell rang. It signaled the end of clubs and she heard the New Directions head out to their cars except for one person who was walking towards her,
"San?" a soft voice asked.
"What?" Santana replied harshly, shoving random books and spirals into her locker with such force it was like she was trying to shove away the pain that was closing in on her.
"Are you okay?"
"Why wouldn't I be?"
Santana replied still not making eye contact with Brittany. The blonde reached out and touched her shoulder. That one touch made Santana break down in silent sobs. Brittany grabbed Santana and pulled her to her while the brunette cried
"I don't know what to do Britt!," She said as gasped in between silent sobs, "I can't choose between two things I love so much! I don't have to choose! They're in charge why am I being bullied by them?"
Brittany just held her, "Whatever happens we'll get through this together. I'll do whatever you need me to. I love you Santana."
Santana looked up at Brittany, "I love you too Brittany."
She pulled away and wiped her eyes, "You have to promise me something,"
Brittany nodded,
"Whatever happens with me, whether I stay on Cheerios or go back to Glee, you will not quit doing either unless you really want to. Don't ever quit what you love."
Brittany nodded again, "Don't worry. I could never quit on you." She replied innocently.
Santana just smiled back. Even though her world was crumbling down around her she somehow knew that with Brittany right by her she would get through it. Glee Club or not.
