"Get out of the way, skank!" Lynn screamed in my face. I could feel my blood boil and my cheeks turn red with embarrassment. I just picked up my books that she had knocked out of my hands, trying to find the nearest exit. My brother Paul was standing with the pack, but none of them was paying attention to what was going on. All of a sudden, I was shoved into my locker, busting my lip on the open door. "Leave her alone!" I heard someone scream at Lynn. When I turned around, not bothering to stop the bleeding, I realized the screaming maniac was Leah. I blushed not wanting the pack to get involved, that would just make matters worse. Lynn looked at Leah with a disgusted look on her face and turned on her heel and walked away. I silently hoped and prayed that Leah's interference wouldn't make matters worse. "Bree, what the hell just happened," Paul asked me. I really didn't want to explain that Lynn just hated me because Paul dumped her, back when he first phased. She didn't mean anything to him anyway, but he didn't want to hurt her before then. He was a nice guy back then and to me he was still nice, he was always there for me whenever I needed him. Here lately, its been every night that I've had nightmares. Ever since the big "battle" with the leeches mob gang, I've had nightmares that they would come back to finish the job and harm the pack and their imprints. Seth's voice interrupted my inner monologue by asking me if I was okay. I looked up into his brown eyes, begging him not to say anything else. I just nodded, then remembered I was bleeding everywhere. Seth handed me his shirt and I pressed it against my lip. I was pretty sure it could need stiches. Great. "Aubree, are you okay?" Seth asked with more force this time. "Yeah, thanks," I replied softly. We walked out of the school our shoulders touching. "So! When did Seth imprint on you, Aub?" Jared asked. I looked at him with a shocked look, as did everyone else. "A few weeks back," Seth replied. No one was supposed to know about the imprint, not yet. I wasn't even supposed to know about them phasing, but Emily had slipped up and told me everything, when the battle was going on because I nearly had a panic attack worrying about everyone. Paul started shaking like mad and took off into the woods.
