AH! This is my first plot bunny! EEP! Yay! So,. This has been nagging me for awhile. This story is before PP, too. It's probably going to be a one-shot, but I might… here me… MIGHT update it. Depends mainly on what you say about it, and how I feel about it.
Third Person
Danny used to never cry easy. But after all the things that has happened in the last year, getting ghost powers, his parents, Valerie, and just mainly the responsibilities that he couldn't seem to take anymore, he just cracked.
The first time he's cried in awhile happened at lunch, at school, with everyone watching.
"Hey, Danny," Tucker laughed. "What up with the butterfly on your arm. That's so girly!" He laughed and pointed to Danny's wrist, which had a crudely drawn butterfly on it. He looked at it, and suddenly started bursting into tears.
The cafeteria became suddenly quiet. Not a sound was heard. They all stared as he ran, wiping his tears and moaning in frustration, out of the room. The door swung shut, going back and forth a few times before it settled in its original position.
Tucker and Sam got up as soon as the door shut and went running, following the trail of tears. It led to the bathroom. Sam sighed and looked at the sigh declaring it to be the men's room.
"I go it," Tucker said, almost unconsciously. He pushed the door open and stepped inside. The door swung shut as Sam tried to see around it.
"Danny…?" Tucker asked. He looked at the six, seven stalls. All doors open, no Danny.
"Stupid Halfa…" He muttered, walking outside the door.
"Phasing through the wall and flying away…"
"He's not in there." Sam tried to make it a question, but she already knew the answer.
"Notta." Tucker said. "What was up with him? I asked why he had a butterfly on his wrist, and then he runs crying."
"If I knew, I would've told you." Sam snapped, and turned to walk towards the exit. "Let's go look for him."
"We can't leave school!" Tucker threw his hands up in the air.
"We have to find him!" Sam yelled and turned and threw her hands in the air, too. "We can't let him fly through the town if he's not in a good mood! Something might happen if he comes across one of his enemies and they see weakness!" She turned and ran out the door. She turned to see that Tucker was following.
They walked for about a half hour before Tucker said, "The Butterfly Effect."
"What?" Sam stopped and asked.
I looked up, 'why do people draw butterflies on their wrists?', and 'The Butterfly Effect came up." He said, showing his PDA.
"Let me see that." She grabbed his PDA and scrolled through the Google page. She gasped.
"Danny…cuts himself?"
True story. Look up the butterfly effect. I heard that people draw butterflies on their wrists to keep from cutting themselves. Rumor has it that if you cut yourself, and if you do cut yourself with a butterfly drawn on your wrist, that the butterfly would die.
