A.N. I don't normally do fics like this, but I've just had the idea and I wanted to see how it worked. Please review if you like it! I would say enjoy, but I don't know if that's such a good thing with an angst fic.

He was known as the heartbreaker. The whore of the Makai. His name was whispered in the streets…
"Youko Kurama!" They cried to the moon as he jumped over the rivers and ran through the trees.
"Did you hear? Youko's become a lot more vicious since he's mates been dead." They now whisper, his name making new light...granting him new titles
Youko the Killer. The Ruthless Youko. Youko Kurama the Merciless. He slaughters as he runs, chopping down bodies as he goes.
They listen from their pubs as he howls to the moon every night in agony of his lost mate. Watch as he drapes his elegant figure over the grave stone.
"Kuronue…" They can hear him whisper as he slaughters every person. "This is for Kuronue you bastards!"
They are anxious at which town he will raid, at which person he will kill. Will he steal more females and sate his lust on them and then leave them to die?
Here come the footsteps! He's coming! They scream in terror and flee as the beautiful silver figure rushes into the area.
Some stop to stare at his beautiful face, a mistake. A horrible mistake. Down comes the whip, slicing them in two.
He is merciless. He is cold. He does not love anymore. What was once the heartbreaker has become the heartbroken killer.
The cold, merciless killer. Thieving is no longer a joy, just a game to keep him entertained. With a howl he races through the streets, looking for the next victim to suffer his wrath.
"Please spare me!" They cry before they die. Such music to ears!
"Have mercy! Please!" He corners them like trapped rats and slaughters every one of them.
Blood splatters on his tunics, he doesn't care. He turns and continues to run. They go to sleep in terror…then the next day they'll wake to hear the messenger crying out with joy.
"Youko Kurama is gone! He has been killed!"
They cheer and can finally sleep in peace, knowing that, he, their merciless killer will never return.
The heartbreaker…had become the heartbroken.
