Chorus of the Bells
I remember years ago when I was a kid. I lived with my parents and baby brother, Dustin. My family is the best. Friends... they're amazing, and they seem to be growing in numbers. Starting out, it was just me, myself, and I, but then I moved to PCA, and I let my walls come down. My first real friends were Dana Cruz and Nicole Bristow, my roommates. Dana and I got off to a bumpy start, but after we had to work together a couple of times, we started growing on each other. However, she moved away after only a year at PCA, and a girl named Lola Martinez moved in with Nicole and I. After her crazy Goth-girl act fell through, we became close friends. For the longest time, things were great.
After about two years, though, tragedy struck: Nicole was sent to rehabilitation for an obsession with boys. The school nerd, Quinn Pensky soon took up residence in our dorm, and we got to know each other. Quinn's frightening habits got better, and Lola and I grew as people as well.
Three boys, Chase Matthews, Logan Reese, and Michael Barret were the first people we met at PCA, and we were instantly friends (actually, Logan took some warming up to). Over time, Quinn actually started a relationship with Logan, though we all used to find him unbearable (Lola and I still do). After graduating from PCA, Dana and I reconnected, and Lola and my old friend discovered they couldn't cooperate with one another.
After enrolling in Schneider College, Quinn, Lola, and I became roommates once again. That was the first year we'd spent Christmas together. It was all so magical. Merry Christmas, everyone.

Dedicated to everyone who's helping out overseas, their families, who must be missing them more than ever around this time. To all my friends and family, and to The Lord, who is the reason for the season.
