The Man She Loved
Ziva was eager to meet Leroy Jethro Gibbs, the man Jen had told her so much about.
When she saw Jen come out of the elevator with a gray-haired man with piercing blue eyes, she knew he was Gibbs. Who else? He was exactly the kind of man Jen would fall for. Ziva smiled at Jen and raised an eyebrow, glancing at Gibbs. Jen merely smiled back.
"Shalom, Jen," said Ziva.
"Shalom," responded Jen as they kissed each other's cheeks. The two women walked over to the desk where Gibbs and the other man, Tony, now stood.
"Special Agent Gibbs," began Jen. "Ziva David, Mossad."
"Ziva," said Ziva, extending her hand to shake Gibbs'. "Director Shepard has spoken often of you," she added, smiling when Gibb only responded with "Really." Yes, she saw why Jen loved this man.
Out of the corner of her eye, Ziva noticed Jen blush slightly.
