She looked up feeling a drop of cold on her bare wrist. There was no forecast about rain so she didn't bring her umbrella. She was wearing her normal outfit so she wasn't prepared for soaking clothes. The sky was filled with grey clouds indicated that she should hurry home and try not to get caught in the rain. It was freezing out and now it was going to rain. It couldn't get any worse she thought to herself.
"Marinette?" She heard from behind her. She froze knowing that voice. She was cold, going to be soaking wet and all while in front of her lifelong crush. She had just exited the school so it wasn't weird to run into him except it was break and school was out. She turned around red as a tomato.
"Adrien! So weird seeing me here. I mean so you seeing weird here. I mean weird seeing you here. No not weird! It's perfectly normal! You go to school here too. I mean you sit behind me. I mean I.. I .." She stuttered.
"She means, what are you doing here on Christmas day" Alya asked saving her best friend.
"I could ask you two the same thing" he answered the ombre haired girl.
Alya shook her head before saying "Nope, we asked first. Rules are rules."
"My father is out of town. Last minute business trip and Mr. Damocles said I was free to go to the school library to read and stuff. Now it's your turn" he answered once again.
"Mr. Damocles also gave us permission to go to the library. We have been wrapping gifts all day." Alya said pointing to Nino exiting the school with boxes full of gifts.
"Mama and Papa always throw a party on Christmas so everyone can spend time with family and we give them gifts as a thank you for coming. It's kinda like our own tradition. You're welcome to join" Mari said not realizing she spoke an entire sentence and invited her crush over to her home.
"I wouldn't want to intrude" he said pitting his head.
"You're coming and that's final" Alya said as a scheme began in her head. You see Marinette and Alya always hang a mistletoe over the door and make sure not to walk under it because it was always a prank on others and they always did it even though they didn't always like who it was with. Last year Nino got stuck with Chloe. They all began walking towards the bakery. Alya pulled Nino with her towards the back exit and Mari completely forgot about the hanging prank. As they both walked in Alya called out to her best friend.
"Mari! Look up" and with that comment both Mari and Adrien looked up and saw the mistletoe. Their cheeks flushed bright red and they looked at each other and then everyone else.
"It's just a prank, if you don't want to you don't need to. I mean you don't have to its not like I want to kiss you. I mean I don't not want to kiss you! I mean …" the stuttering girl was stopped mid sentence by the blonde bending down and kissing her. As they eased into the kiss the first snowfall in many years begun. Alas their rare white Christmas had started all with true loves kiss.
Hey my lovlies! I am truly so sorry that I haven't finished my stories and that I have been unaccounted-for. I've been stuck in a very thick fog for a while now and its been very hard for me to continue on with stories. If you can be patient with me for a little longer I will do my best to get the stories finished. I created this yesterday but wasn't exactly working for me but I had to do somsomething for Christmas I'm just sorry it's late.
