As silent as she could, she entered his room. Her eyes immediately found who they were looking for. He was lying still on his bed engulfed in his deep slumber.
A faint smile crossed her lips.
He must be tired, she thought, nonetheless he managed to finish his mission.
She loved him. No, that was a lie.
That was inappropriate to say because it was an understatement.
She has been loving him…past….present…progressive.
The moonlight coming from the glass window illumined his form enough for her to marvel at his features.
His jet black mane that was rather disheveled at this rate still framed his handsome façade perfectly. His eyes that were hidden beneath his closed lids were mirrors to his soul but only she could fathom the reflections presented on them. No one could, it was only her who truly understand him. She could read beneath his hostile reactions, understand his silence, decipher his sullen words, and most of all, only she knew his true personality. Only she could see that beneath his tough-guy masquerade he was really a boy who was seeking for love and she willingly gave that love to him.
That's why it's wrong to say that she loved him.
She has been loving him.
Just like how she loved his father...past…present…progressive and undying.
With the same silence and carefulness she possessed when she entered, she went outside her son's room.
A faint smile crossed her lips when a gentle breeze caressed her cheeks.
"Sasuke."
