His head hurt.
Everything hurt, to be honest.
The last thing he remembered was seeing a giant sword crash on the battlefield, Chloe fleeing, his sister embracing him before he blacked out…
His eyes slowly opened, adjusting to the sunlight. As he took note of the weight on his hand, he groggily shifted his gaze to the small girl resting her head against the bed he was on. Elsword tried shifting his hand but the girl's grasp tightened slightly, as if fearing letting him go.
"Aisha…" he murmured as he shifted to sit up.
The movement must have disturbed the girl, as she groaned and lifted her head from her arms.
"You're awake…" Aisha stated simply while rubbing her eyes. Elsword noticed her swollen eyes when her hand moved away and reached towards her before hesitating.
He nodded slightly, "How long has it been?"
Her eyes narrowed at this question, her voice was harsh as she answered, "It's been two weeks. Two weeks, Elsword." Her voice wavered as if she were going to break into tears, "We didn't think you would make it. The wounds you got from the battlefield were bad enough, and you even pushed yourself to save everyone…"
He moved to sit at the edge of the bed, "Aisha…"
She sat up abruptly, tears falling from her magenta eyes at an uncontrollable rate. "You're so stupid! Didn't you know you could have died? You were in no position to play saviour and get yourself killed, Elsword!" Aisha caught her breath before whispering, "I-if Elesis hadn't come, I…I-I…"
Elsword brought her towards him and embraced her, his head resting on her chest. "Sorry, I guess I really worried you. At least you're safe though."
"Idiot, I should be saying that-!"
He lifted his head from her chest and rubbed away the tears falling from her eyes. "Aisha, sorry."
She pulled him back into a hug, and they stayed there a while, taking comfort in the fact they were both alive.

This was my take of what happened after the cutscene in Velder and I'm a loser for elsai.
I was imagining this as EM and LK since those were the classes in the cutscene but I guess this works for either of their classes.
