First fanfic of Supernatural. This will not have Destiel or Wincest. I find that repulsive in changing their sexuality when they are clearly straight. Except Cas, cuz he's an angel and technically can do what he wants. But it won't be with Dean. Anyways, this isn't as detailed as I should have made it and it can be a little vague in areas, but I thought it was an interesting idea, so please read on and enjoy.

Sam and Dean had found their father. They were working together to track down the yellow eyed demon, the one that had caused so much trouble. They knew he was feeding more blood to babies from Sam's visions. And that vision brought them to Madison, Wisconsin. They took a break from searching for the demon and stopped at a place to eat and get a drink. They were seated by a waitress. She was a nice waitress and had the boys' attention while she listed off the specials for the night. They ordered their usual kind of food and as they waited, they talked about the case. Dean noticed their waitress pass through a doorway that led to the back of the restaurant, carrying a small box in her hand. He felt a little unsettled by the sight but returned his attention to his family. That is until he saw another go out that door a minute later. A slim man with jittery hands and a sly smile of his face. Dean cleared his throat and said he was going to use the bathroom. He headed out the door and walked slowly around the corner to outside. They were in an ally that was fenced in on the back of the building, the street opening buzzing with cars. He saw her leaning against the chain fence and whispering to the man in front of her. He could only see the back of the man and was about to go back inside, thinking that he had just stumbled on a young romance. But their was a yell and he turned to see him smack her across the face. He grabbed her by the throat and lifted her up with more strength than what those skinny arms could have. Dean ran over to them, pulled the man back to face him, forcing him to drop the girl. She fell to the ground, and watched as the two men fought.

His eyes were black.

Dean brought him down and knew what to do to get rid of him quick. He said the phrase without stumbling and the demon left flying away in the gray smoke that they are known for. Dean glanced over to the girl to see if she was hurt. She was glaring at him.

"What's the big idea?" she asked as she got up.

"Well, that's not what I thought would come out of my damsel in distress." Dean chuckled, trying to hide his surprise.

"I could have handled it. He was just being a pain in the ass. I would have gotten through it without your help." Their little argument was interrupted.

"What just happened?" the man that was previously possessed asked, holding his head.

"It's alright, Jimmy. You hit up a little too much. It'll wear off soon." The girl smiled and told him to take it easy in the back of the kitchen and wait for her there. She turned back to the man that 'saved' her. She crossed her arms. "Who are you?"

"I was just about to ask you the same thing. You knew he was a demon?"

She shrugged, "More or less. You still didn't answer me, who are you?"

"Dean!"

The two twisted around and saw his dad and brother walking to them.

"What's going on? You alright?" The younger brother said while the dad commented that the guy that they just saw walk into the bar didn't look too good.

"Everything's fine. Seems like our pretty waitress has some secrets that need spilling," Dean pointed to her, "She was out here fraternizing with a demon and she knew it. Wasn't even surprised when I exorcized it."

With all eyes on her, she sighed and knew she should explain. "My name's Aubrie Jane Bennett, as you know from my waitressing. And yeah, Jimmy wasn't the first demon I've seen or dealt with. My way's not as messy as your chanting though. I never felt right saying that Latin mumbojumbo."

"So what do you do? Are you a hunter?" asked Sam.

"A what? I've never been hunted deer if that's what you mean."

"How are you familiar with demons?" Dean's dad asked, stepping closer to her. Aubrie side stepped away and slipped to the other side of them, so that now her back was to the bar door and the others were closer to the fence.

"That's for me to know. Now, I'm sure you boys are hungry and your food is ready by now. Come back inside, eat up, and continue on your way. Doesn't that sound like a nice plan?" She smiled sweetly and moved easily to the door, offering it open for the others. They grumbled uneasily, but followed the suggestion.

They didn't see her again that night. While their food came out, which another waitress brought, she slipped out.

"Something ain't right about her." Sam said.

"Yeah, you think she's in cahoots with Azazel?" Dean asked, "Maybe we should find out more about her. Figure out what she's doing here."

"I don't know, she seems..." John mumbled, looking away, trying to find the right word. "There's something familiar about her. I can't place my finger on it. Maybe she's a hunter's kid."

"But she said she didn't know what hunting was?" said Sam, leaning back in his chair.

Dean laughed, "Yeah, maybe the parents tried to keep the business away from her, but you know teenage rebellion and such, sticking her nose where it don't belong."

They decided to find out more about her. Sam went back to the hotel room to find out what he could online, and Dean and John stayed at the bar and grill to question the workers under the impression that they worked for the FBI.

An hour later, the guys were all back at the room comparing answers. They found out that she didn't grow up the city, came here two years ago, got along fairly well with everyone in the neighborhood, and very well with a few individuals who let Dean and John know where Aubrie lived; they said she had a small business out of her apartment. Sam sighed, "She seems to check out. The only thing I can find is that she was moved around a lot in homes after her adopted mother gave her up at ten years old."

"What happened to the parents?" Dean asked.

"Mother died shortly after child birth and the father is unknown."

"Hmm. Wonder why everyone left her. Think demons are behind it?"

"That would explain a way she knows about them. Maybe she made a deal with one and it went bad, or her parents did. The adopted mother left after ten years. I couldn't find anything about her after leaving. That could be a crossroads deal."

"Ok, so I guess we'll give her a visit in the morning. She if she will tell us anything. At the very least, she might have information about the whereabouts of Azazel." John said with a shrug.

Aubrie got up out of bed after a knock on her door. She groaned and threw on a robe as she walked to see who it was through her peephole in the apt. door. "Ugh, you three, again." She sighed as she opened the door.

"Morning, sunshine." Dean smiled.

"May we come in?" John asked politely.

"I don't think you'd take no for an answer, would you?" Aubrie announced sweeping her arm away for them to enter.

They walked in and looked around, trying to find anything unusual. "I'm John, and these are my sons, Dean and Sam. We didn't get to introduce ourselves last night."

"Umm okay. Is there a reason for the morning escapade to my humble abode?" Aubrie asked, stepping into her kitchen and filling a cup from her coffee pot.

"We want answers, simple as that" Sam said, taking a seat on a stool by the counter.

"Answers to what? I already told you, I know what a demon looks like, and that's pretty much it. Coffee?"

"Sure," It was John who accepted. Aubrie poured him a cup, gave it to him and filled some more for the others. As she was turned around, John sprinkled a bit of holy water into her cup. The others watched cautiously while she leaned against the counter and picked up her cup. She took a sip and winced slightly. Sam inhaled loudly.

But Aubrie whined, "Ouch, burnt my lip. Sorry, my coffee maker makes it really hot." She added a bit of cold water and took another sip. "Better. So what else am I suppose to tell you? I met a couple demons a few years ago. They weren't nice guys, but what demons are?"

John shook his head, he didn't think she was a demon; the holy water should have burnt her worse. Either that or she was just really good at hiding it. But she seemed so innocent. "Why would a young girl like you have anything to do with demons. Did you make a deal with them?"

"Not exactly. They found me out. Offered some help when I needed it, but I never asked for anything in return. I didn't know they were demons right away. I just thought there was someone out there watching over me. I didn't have anywhere to go and there were these people who took me in. I come home one day and I overhear them talking about me. About how they can use me. And then I got a good look at their face through a mirror around the corner. It's like I was seeing them for the first time. They were hideous and warped. Worse of all, it was the black eyes that freaked me out. I remember seeing them before...somewhere," Aubrie finished trailing off. "Anyways, I sneaked out that night and ran, ran as far as I could. Then I came here. I didn't have a problem again until a month ago. But I was ready this time. I read up on them, did some research. The first exorcism didn't work for some reason, but I found that I could talk them into leaving."

"Hmm-mmm" was pretty much all their thoughts.

"That doesn't seem very likely. What did you tell them?" John asked, eying her suspiciously.

"Just told them there's no reason to be here and to move along," She paused, " Well, I admit, I added in a little more seductiveness. Which is what I should do to you, but I won't cuz your growing on me." She smiled. "How do you know about demons?"

"We're hunters. We send those demons back to hell and are currently tracking down a certain demon that needs to be dealt with, goes by the name Azazel." Sam answered abruptly.

"Dude! Thanks for giving us away," Dean said, shoving Sam in the shoulder.

"It's alright, Sam. I have that affect on people. They open up to me easy enough."

"What are you?" John asked, feeling uneasy again. There was this familiarity about the way she talked and held herself, the way that she could say something to get what she wants. It was uncommon, but he had seen it somewhere before.

"I'm human," said Aubrie squinting. But then added, "I just have a special talent."

Sam looked from her to his family. "Like me. I can see visions. I saw us here. Well, not in your apartment, but around here. When did you start to show... your talent?"

Aubrie took another sip of her coffee, taking the three strange men in front of her. She felt they were trustworthy and weren't going to hurt her. If they were, they probably would have done so by now.

"I've had them since I was young. My mother said I was special."

"When you say mother, you mean your adopted mother, right" Dean asked.

"...Yes. Looks like I've been the talk of the night, haven't I?" Aubrie crossed her arms, with a sly smile.

John coughed. "Did she say how or why you have this skill?"

"Not really. But she knew I had them before I did. She told me they would help me in life and that she was proud of me for being so strong."

"You have more than one skill?" Dean asked, and the men became guarded, not knowing fully what they were expecting.

"Hmm, yes. But I don't see a reason to reveal everything about me. We should move onto another topic." Aubrie suggested, moving to the other side of the counter and glanced at the clock. "Actually, we should wrap this conversation up; I have an appointment very shortly."

John wanted to keep getting information on this young girl, but found that he could no longer remember the questions he wanted to ask. Instead, his mind switched to his mission in this area. "Alright, well I guess your in the clear... for now. If you have-" John's statement was cut off by a knock at the door and they looked behind them to see it opening tentatively. The face of the man last night appeared.

"Oh, I'm sorry AJ. Did I come at the wrong time?" He asked apologetic. "I can wait outside." He was about to close the door, but Aubrie interjected, "No, no. Jimmy, you're right on time. These gentlemen were just getting ready to leave. You can have a seat in my room. I'll be right there." Aubrie said, walking up to greet him and lead him to her room. She closed the door behind her and turned back to the other guests. "Well, boys, it was nice meeting you. But I have plans to follow through on. If I find out anything on this Azazel, you mentioned before, is there a way to contact you?"she asked as she quickly cleaned up their coffee cups.

"Be careful. He's dangerous." Sam warned.

Aubrie looked up to him and smiled sadly, "I know what dangerous is. I think I can handle a little recon."

"Even so, if you're in over your head, give us a call." Dean said as he produced a small card and handed it to her. Aubrie glanced at it quickly; it had several different numbers on it, with only the word Winchesters. She tilted her head. She knew this name.

"The Winchesters, huh," she said aloud quietly and laughed. "I've heard that name a few times, whispered around in the shadows. Maybe I will take a little more caution with this Azazel." She showed them to the door, and as they were about to walk down the hall she added, "And you should be careful too."

The Winchesters searched the rest of the day for anything on Azazel and the family that he would ruin, but they couldn't find anything. They were at a stand still.

"Maybe, you vision was wrong," Dean said to Sam as he laid on the cheap motel bed.

"They never were before." Sam shook his head. "But it wasn't a specific space in my vision. It was a series of streets...and one of them was outside of Aubrie's place. Maybe it was Aubrie we were suppose to find after all."

They looked to their dad for his input, but he wasn't paying attention. He was skimming through his notes in his journal and had Sam's laptop open with the same information on Aubrie that Sam had found earlier. The familiarity of Aubrie was weighing heavily on John's mind and it was driving him crazy that he couldn't place why.

"Dad, you listening?" Dean asked.

"Hmm, yeah, yeah," was John's answer.

"What are you looking up? Did you find out more on Aubrie?" Sam got up and was going to see what his dad found.

John circled a passage in his journal and closed it, not sure if he was ready to reveal what his hunch was. "Eh, not anything more, really. Just that I did a case, one of my first cases, in the town where Aubrie Jane Bennett's biological mother lived." He shut off the computer and they were about to make a game plan for finding Azazel.

"One more thing that is bugging me. What is her little side business?" Dean asked.
