Summary: Au. The story takes place at the end of season 7Btvs. This is what I think should happen. It's a very simple little fic.

"I can." Angel touched Buffy shoulder as she turned towards him. He wiped the dirt from off her jean jacket. She smiled as his fingers brushed her side. The thought of him this close was enough to bring a girl to her knees.
*You're the closest to heaven that I'll ever be*
"So what now happens now, where do we go from here?"
*And I don't wanna go home right now*
"I dunno. what do you want to happen?"
"I just don't want to be here at this moment. I can't go home. I'm not ready to forgive them yet. Even though they meant well.where are you going?" Buffy saw Willow and Xander looking towards her. She gestured to Angel to start walking before they came over.
*And all I can taste of this moment*
"We could go any where, the two of us. Maybe we could talk a little bit about us, sleep." Angel smiled. It was a smile that promise so much in a simple grin.
"Sleeping would be nice. We've been through so much I'm running off of pure luck."
*And all I can breathe is your life, and sooner or later it's over* *I just don't wanna miss you tonight*
"Buffy wait up!" Willow yelled from a far. Buffy turned back to wait for her. She didn't know why, but she did. Apart if thought that she shouldn't wait, but she couldn't seem to move her legs.
"I'm sorry.
Buffy interrupted her before she could apologize.
"Look Will I really don't want to talk about that now. Take care of Dawn for me in till I get back.
"Where are you going?" Buffy just smiled at her and turned and walked away.
"So let just ride."
"Sure. Any thing you say love." They climb into Angel car and took off down the road.

Buffy rolled down the window and felt the cool night air hit her face.
"Feeling better?"
"I will be. I have a feeling that everything is going to be alright." Tears fell from her eyes. Not tears of sadness, but comfort. Angel noticed them and with his right hand wipe them away.
"Everything will be ok, don't cry. You know I hate to see you cry."
*And I can't fight the tears that ain't coming*
"How's Conor?"
*Or the moment of truth in you lies*
"I finally gave him something that he always wished he had." Buffy took Angels hand into hers.
*When everything feels like the movies and bleed just to know you're alive*
Nothing from that point was said. Everything that had to be said would be said sometime in the future. Right now was time to enjoy the ride. Forget about tomorrow. The day was half spent and time waits for no man. Buffy smiled and laid her head back on the seat as she and Angel continued off to nowhere land.
