It's always been you court.

Matthew's pov: "Finally the credits, I never thought this movie would end" He quietly thought to himself. As he stood up to go get the remote and turn the tv off he heard jimmy kimmel come on." Oh god what's the next young celebrity that will entertain us tonight" saying in a sarcastic tone little did he know. Just as he was going to click the off button on the remote he heard jimmy introduce " the beautiful and talented courteney Cox" he paused as the very familiar name ran through his head. A name he hadn't heard of in a while, a name that made his heart do all these flippy-things, a name that he'd always loved. He sat down, setting his remote next to him as he saw her make her way to the guest chair, he couldn't help how beautiful she looked, how the lights of the camera made her shine and radiate. Jimmy had said something that made her laugh he wasn't at all paying attention to him,he was paying attention to how her lips curved perfectly as she laughed, he remembered how soft her lips where when they used to be a T.V couple all those years ago.

God he had wished they were still on friends just to be married to her once more. He would do anything to be able to hold her again, to feel her lips against his once more. He had then realized that it's been over six years since he got to see her last. He wondered if he had done something wrong something to hurt her. But as she walked off of the kimmel stage he thought to himself " court got with Johnny 6 years ago. Maybe she stopped seeing calling or texting him because Johnny has not let her" but instantly threw the thought out of his head there is no way that could've happened. After she walked off stage he knew it would be the perfect opportunity to call her. To hear her voice. He picked up his phone and scrolled through his contacts, he never deleted her number he always looked at it wondering if he should call. He finally clicked the call button and heard the phone ring and when she had picked up his heart nearly stopped when she picked up

Buzz….buzz…..buzzz…..buzzzz

Courteney: hello,this is courteney cox speaking.

Matthew: uhm hey court it's me matty.

Courteney: oh my god matty, really?

Matthew: yea ofc. I just wanted to hear your voice again I miss you, seeing you tonight really reminded me of not seeing in uh I think almost 6 years.

Courteney: has it really been that long? She asked shocked, how had they gone 6 years without each other. More importantly how had she gone 6 years without seeing him.

Matthew: yea it has I know. Uhm that's why I was calling actually, I know it's late and I'm sure you're busy so I'll make it quick but I was wondering if you wanted to meet up?

instantly regretting what he had said

Courteney: sweetie, I always have time for you I would love to see you again. I'm not busy tomorrow night after Johnny heads off to the airport.

Matthew: alright… is 8 okay?

Courteney: definitely!

Matthew: I'll see you tomorrow night.

Courteney: bye sweetie.

And that was it after 6 years, they were to finally see each other. He got quite giddy at the realization of being able to see her, hug her, and just cherish their moments tomorrow

God I know this is ABSOLUTE trash but it's my first of hopefully many matteney/mondler fanfics

please bare with me chapter two will hopefully be done sometime this week. I plan on making this a 5 part series but we shall see.
