A/N: Futuristic AU, Ereri, character death... ya. I hope you enjoy this, seeing how late I'm writing this haha...
"He's-He's bleeding! Someone get help! Quickly!" the raven shouted as he frantically fumbled with his cravat and took it off. Petra nodded and jetted off to find the medical team.
"H... Heichou..." Eren murmured, turning his head slightly to look at him with half-lidded eyes.
"Y-You're gonna be fine! I will f-fucking kill you if you die on me now!" he joked in an attempt to try to lighten things at least slightly, though to no avail, as he pressed his cravat against the worst of the gaping wounds on his body. The injured boy cried out as he did so.
"I know it hurts... but-but the medical team is coming, and you're gonna get help and you'll be fine!" Levi assured. His cravat and hand were already stained with the brunette's crimson body fluid and his frantic breaths grew heavier and shakier as he tried not to panic.
"Hei... chou..."
The corporal's blue-grey eyes widened as the young soldier's titan green ones began to flutter closed all the way. There was no way this was happening.
"D-Don't you dare die on me now! Think about the ocean! Or your little friends, Mikasa, and that blonde kid!" Levi stuttered. Never before had he been so protective and reluctant to let another soldier die. Never before had he cared and showed so much emotion for another person before. "Eren, please!... Look at me!"
His eyes fluttered slightly, but didn't meet the older man's.
"Say something! A-Anything!" the corporal faltered, vision starting to blur.
The younger boy's eyes opened barely as he weakly smiled up at his corporal.
"I... l... love... y-you~," Eren breathed out before his smile faded and his eyes closed. Levi didn't feel the faint movements of his chest anymore.
"No..." he muttered as he checked the soldiers pulse.
Nothing.
"No! Eren!" Levi yelled while shaking the unmoving soldier before him. His entire body was racked with tremors. He was dead. Eren was dead.
His Eren was dead.
He looked at his peaceful face in desperation; willing him to blink or speak or give him any sign that he was alive.
Eren didn't move.
Levi suppressed a sob and leaned over his face before kissing the corpse of what was his young lover. He closed his eyes and touched his forehead against the younger one's.
"Come back to me..." he shakily whispered as tears dripped from his eyes onto the sleeping face below him and he convulsed in shakes and quiet sobs.
A/N: So after a month or so of having this idea, I finally decided to write it... Not sure if I'm going to continue or not, but I actually had a pretty cool base idea with the whole future/tech thing~ it's not so much in this part, but IF I do continue this, it'll be more techy~ thanks for reading~ ^w^
