Hazards
Winter brings snow and ice, and Watson never knows when his cane might slip. Some days he simply stays inside, unwilling to risk a fall that could leave him bedridden for days. However, when Holmes has an interesting case, Watson's thirst for adventure pulls him out the door and off to investigate alongside him. Cabs aren't always available, and Holmes impatiently wants to get where he's going; he insists that timing is essential.
But in the winter, no matter how urgent the case, Holmes walks slower, right beside Watson, and the Doctor knows he will catch him if he falls.
