The secret of the warped worlds has been quarantined. After great lengths, the last of the mysterious creatures were shot dead in the city after being percieved as threats. The last of the survivors would leave a note that would change the fate of the entire world.
New York City, July 1949.
"Hunting down these abominations should be our greatest concern. The portal to the other world should be sealed. Their government has also agreed to keep this secret in every respect." Remarked General J. K. The general was deeply against the connection of the worlds, as it could wreak havoc on the world's current state of peace.
The 'abominations', as they were known at the time, were all detained in a top secret military facility. Soon afterward, all traces and memories were lost until the great reopening of the portal more than seventy years later...

"Maan, nice wheels! Don't know where you'd get something like that at the Mill." James said gleefully. "Take it out for a spin on the turnpike. See what it can do, eh? Traffic ain't too bad."
"Alrighty then." I said under my breath. The seventy year old car had a few modifications, as I could see. A new radio system, engine, and a touch screen. Who could ask for more?
I started the car as its engine roared to life. "See ya!" I yelled to James as I pulled away. Nearing the highway, the sky suddenly darkened. I turned on the radio to a special broadcast: "The expressway west has been overrun by strange creatures, and reports say that they're pokemon. Two have been shot by police officers as many more have been ran over by spooked motorists. And I .. d ... . ..." The signal cut out.
I sped up to reach the freeway, to see if the report was true. As I accelerated on the road, a Lucario rocketed in front of my car. BANG! It slid forward a few feet and stopped. I jumped out of the car with my medical kit, saved for such a situation. After a quick examination I concluded that no bones were broken. Just as I started to lift him to my car, his eyes opened.
"You hit me, you fool. Maybe watch where you're going next time." He snapped.
"I could've avoided it, but you just jumped right out. And, how do Pokemon exist?" I asked.
He just looked at me dumbfounded. As he went to get up, he recoiled in pain. "How can you play a joke on me when you have already done damage?" He grumbled.
"Get in. I'll explain later." I motioned for the passenger seat.
"Never seen a car like this before. What is it?" He asked.
"1949 Modified Ford Coupe." I said with pride.
"Very old." He commented as I took the next exit. I turned the radio on again with the familiar country music on. I kept it on for the hour drive home. No story about the pokemon or anything.
I pulled into the driveway of my house. Humble, I thought. Being smart in stocks surely paid for this and many more things. I parked the car next to my new Corvette, recently waxed.
"Let's go. I have many rooms and you can choose."
After he chose a room, I let him alone. Little did I know the existence of this supposedly nonexistent creature would drastically alter my life.
