The Cinderkit Stories
Story One: Parents
Author's Note: I don't own Warriors. This is the first story in a series about how Cinderkit could grow up. She will learn about her parents, find love, have kittens, and have many adventures.
Prologue
"Are you sure she is ready?" Leafpool said.
"Yes," Cinderpelt replied. "My daughter must learn who her parents are."
"Is her father still alive and what do you want me to tell her about you? Should I tell her or will you visit her dreams?" the younger cat asked.
"Will you tell her? I will visit her when she is ready."
"Of course I will, Cinderpelt. I've been meaning to ask, does Sorreltail know?"
"She knows and will likely help you tell my daughter who her true mother is, not that your friend is a bad mother at all. My daughter must locate her living father herself, though."
"Can't you tell me?"
Cinderpelt just smiled and then Leafpool woke up.
