The sun rose over the remains of Konoha. They rubble was filled with trees, stone and the remainder of the once great Hidden Leaf. A small stirring was seen on the left side. A massive hand rose up and pushed the cement rubble away to show a teenage blonde girl. She was curled up and covered by a young man with what could only be described as a pineapple hair style. They both looked up and cautiously moved away from their hiding spot. The blonde rushed over to the source of the large hand, now shrunk back to normal size and checked him over.
"What happened?" she asked him.
"Ino…..I have no idea" replied the pineapple brunette. He was greeted by a groan from the heavy set man on the group.
"Shikamaru, help me. I think my arm was crushed protecting you two."
Together Ino and Shikamaru moved the rumble away and helped him sit up. Ino began to try and heal the basic wounds and thanking the big man, Chouji for saving her. Across the way a growl was heard. A massive white dog popped up and pushed aside a tree. Up came a blue haired girl and a boy in sunglasses. They were followed by a brunette boy. The blue haired girl was limping slightly and the other two were covered in scratched and burns. They made their way over to the other three.
"Hey! Some help would be nice Shikamaru." The brunette called. He walked over and helped the blue haired girl towards Ino.
"Hinata! Are you okay?" Ino asked as she finished on Chouji. She didn't heal it all the way since she knew she would have to conserve chakra until Sakura was found. The boy with sunglasses helped Chouji stand,
"You okay Shino? Kiba?" he asked both boys.
"I think we are all okay, just a few scratches. Its all thanks to Akamaru here." replied the brunette named Kiba as he petted the massive dog.
A few yards away a pale boy emerged covered in ink and helped a boy with a dark blue shirt and black hair stand up.
"Sasuke! Sai! Over here!" called Hinata after her leg was healed. Both boys walked over and sat near them.
"Sai really is a life saver. Its all those ink animals that helped save us." said the black hair as he turned to hug the pale boy (OC…I know…deal with it!).
The group eventually got up and began to look for survivors. They found Tenten and Neji unter a pile of rocks, but luckily there were no serious injuries.
"Ok everyones here….except Naruto and Sakura. Where are they? Did anyone see them before the attack?" Tenten asked.
NO one had seen them. They all turned as they heard a loud crash and saw a flash of orange fall from a pile of ruble.
"There's Naruto," Shikamaru said as he went to help up his friend. He too was fine and had luckily been blown away from the massive piles of rock.
"I was just heading out to follow Tsunades last orders to evacuate the village. I was with Sakura but after it went dark, she vanished. When I woke up I found a few people, but they were all dead." Naurto explained to everyone. He continued on about when he found Tsunade she had given him a small scroll and told him to keep it for Sakura. "She died right after that. I guess we are all on our own."
"So what happened…….where is Konoha?" Hinata asked.
"You're standing on it."
