Disclaimer: Do I really have to put this? I suppose I do. I don't own Doctor Who, the Weeping Angels, Wester Drumlins, or anything else. I do own Renee, Alex, and Nathan. And the story. I own the story too.

The house loomed, dark and ominous, above the trio of teenagers.

Or, at least, what was supposed to be dark and ominous. It wasn't having much of an effect on Renee, who had been standing in its presence for the past ten minutes. Behind her, the tall wrought-iron fence was open wide, welcoming daring visitors.

Garbed in black, hair to match and dark makeup to boot, it wasn't unusual to find her, or her group of friends, here this time of year. October chill seeped through the black hooded sweater Nathan had provided her with, raising chill bumps on her arms.

"This is so ridiculous," complained Alex, arms crossed over his chest as he looked over the heads of those in front of the three.

Renee peered at the pale boy through the fringe of black hair over her left eye, tugging her jacket tighter. "Then why are you still here?"

Alex grumbled something under his breath, but didn't seem about to bail.

Screams echoed from within the house, then were replaced by an maniacal cackle.

The last group in front of the raven-clad trio entered the haunted house, leaving the group standing next to the attendant, who requested to see their bracelets. Renee pulled up her sleeve, the neon green sharply contrasting her black sleeve, and the two boys pushed their wrists forward as the attendant flashed her torch across the bracelets. "Alright, you're clear," she declared, shoving a small map into each of their hands. "Follow the map. We don't have an attendant at the end, so just head 'round the back and straight out through the courtyard," she explained, flashing a oh-so-plastic yellowed smile. "Go on in."

They stepped inside, the open door creaking as all three tried to squash themselves inside at once. Creaks sounded deeper inside the estate.

Around them, a com echoed in an eerie voice through the empty house. "Happy Halloween from Wester Drumlins. Enjoy your haunting."

Review? Like the idea? Anybody? I promise the next chapter will be longer!
