[Setting: Halliwell Manor; April 3, 2029]

Man: (walking) Melinda, what do you mean we can't get married?

(The man walks with his supposed-to-be bride to the front door. They stop and look at each other.)

Melinda: Just that. I want to marry you; I really do, but I'm going to have to say no. I'm sorry about this Rich, I really am, (Melinda puts Rich's hat on his head.) but have fun on your trip to Cairo ok?

Rich: I'll try, but I doubt that I will. This whole thing just dampened my mood. (He looks up and into the woman's eyes.) Don't worry Melly; I'm sure that by time I get back from Cairo, we will be walking down the aisle together. Now I gotta go.

(Rich gives Melinda a kiss on the cheek and walks out the door. Melinda smiles and looks out the window. A man in a black cloak passes by the window and Melinda tilts her head to the right.)

Melinda: The Source?

(The man turns towards her and his eyes flash red. Melinda moves away from the window, quickly. She takes out a phone and dials a number.)

INTERCUT telephone conversation, Split Screen…

Melinda: Hello Chris, you there?

Chris: Yeah Melly, I'm here. What's up?

Melinda: I think I just saw The Source. He passed by the window.

Chris: Don't be ridiculous Melly, The Source couldn't possibly be returning. All the demons were cast to The Demonic Graveyard after they were killed.

Melinda: You know damn well that The Source is bound to return. Mom, Aunt Phoebe, and Aunt Paige didn't end the fight forever.

Chris: Yeah, I know that, but do you honestly think The Source would be stupid enough to just roam by the Manor? Also, how could he have possibly escaped the enchanted chest that Wyatt locked him in?

Start Flashback…

[Setting: Playground; 2017]

Phoebe: (to Melinda) No, the demons are all gone.

(Someone black orbs to the park holding a darklighter crossbow and everybody runs, screaming. Piper, Phoebe and Paige jump in front of the kids.)

Paige: What in the world?! How is there a demon here, I thought we vanquished all of them?

Piper: Apparently, we forgot one. Let's get this over with.

(Piper flicks her hands and the darklighter puts his palm out to the attack, using deviation to throw it back at Piper. Piper flies backwards.)

Phoebe: What the-? How'd he do that?

(The demon shapeshifts and the two sisters look flabbergasted.)

Piper: (weakly) Paige…

Paige: I'm coming Piper.

(Paige begins running towards Piper, when the Shapeshifter holds up the darklighter crossbow and aims it.)

Phoebe: (O.S.) Oh no you don't you son of a bitch! (Phoebe kicks the demon to the ground and grabs the crossbow. She pulls the trigger and the arrow pierces the Shapeshifter through the chest. His body goes limp and Phoebe relaxes.) Piper! (She runs over to her sister and kneels down.) Are you alright?

Paige: (looking at Phoebe) She'll be fine, she just needs some rest.

Demon: (O.S.) Oh she'll have a whole lot of rest.

(Phoebe and Paige turn around as the demon reverts back to its original form.)

Paige: (gasps) The Source! I thought we vanquished you.

The Source: Well you thought wrong and now you're going to die for it.

(The Source charges forward with an athame.)

Wyatt: NO! Sealing Box!

(Wyatt jumps in front of his mom and aunts, the Halliwell Sealing Box orbing into his hands. The park is blinded by a white light as The Source is sucked in the box. Wyatt's flung backwards through the park, as the box closes and locks.)

End Flashback…

Chris: Mel, Melly.

Melinda: Huh, what?

Chris: Just get some sleep Melly, you're probably just tired or it might just be stress from Rich's proposal.

Melinda: How'd you…? Never mind. Fine Chris, I'll get some sleep. Talk to you later.

Chris: Later Melly.

(Chris hangs up the phone and Melinda glances over to the Book of Shadows, which lies on the table.)

Melinda: (mentally) Sure, I'll get some sleep… right after I find out if it's true. (Melinda picks up the Book of Shadows and walks upstairs to the attic. She places the book on its stand and begins flipping through it.) The Source couldn't be coming back, but I'm not taking any chances. The next generation will have to stop the demons; I just hope they'll be ready.
