My verison of Dean's talk with Ben in 6.14. Mention of OCs from some of my other fan fics. Bored after watching the episode, thought I'd get this out of the way so I can get on with the millions of projects I've been working on, that are taking up all the space on my computer and phone.
"You wanna know why I don't want you doing this? Because I don't want you to end up like Hollywood!" Dean yelled at me. "Or, God forbid you end up like Bullet did. That kid went to hell and back and now to only God knows where. He was 11, Ben, he died at 11 years old, sold his soul for his sister! Then was smited down by an angel, came back in Chad, and now he's really isn't showing any sign of coming back this time. Neither of those two had a choice, Hollywood is a werewolf and has a shadow angel living inside of her, Bullet was a werewolf, they were both raised by their revenge obsessed grandpa! Chad, didn't have a choice when Bullet borrowed his body, and Avenged was killed, eatten alive, just like Adam, then the only reason they came back was because of the angel's stupid plan, and look at what happened to them, they're trapped in the Cage with Luicfer, his two kids, and Michael. You have a choice Ben, you have so many differents choices, they didn't, you've seen how fucked up Hollywood is, she has a shank hidden in her shoes when she has to go to school, she can go days without a hint of humanity!" Dean looked like he was ready to cry. "I don't want to see you like that, I don't Ben. Sam knows how bad his daughter is, hell even Hollywood knows she can't be normal, I've heard both of them talking about you. They don't want you in the family business, they know what it'll do to you, and trust me, even if you were to join in, they'd never let you out of their sight, and neither would I."
"But Dean, I won't turn into either of them! I won't sell my soul, because I have no one to sell it for! I'm not a werewolf or a shadow angel! I never met Grandpa John! I'm doing this to be with my family!" I yelled at my 'dad'. "And you could have brought Adam back! But instead you brought Sam's soul back!"
"But what'll happen when you watch one of us die?" Dean asked. "What'll happen then?" I was jolted off by that. I had never thought of that, though Hollywood mentioned it a few times.
"Hollywood's already told me about everything, she visited me once, taught me how to shoot a gun," Ben told his dad. "I exorcized a demon in town a few days ago. I can take care of myself! I won't sell my soul, I won't!"
Dean looked at Ben, "Winchesters do it without thinking, we go on impluse. We don't think, 'Is this a good idea, is it really?' We think 'bring them the fuck back.'"
"I still want to be a Hunter," Ben told him.
"No, Ben, you don't," Dean told the kid as he walked out of the room "You really don't."
