Trying to get to Buckland or Bree.
The man in the hat said, "You've gotta get the ring back."
You know they didn't even give us a chance.

The way things are going
Sauron will crucify me.
Finally made it out of the shire
Sleeping in the Prancing Pony.
Strider came to say,
"You can make it O.K.,
I'll take you so that you don't get so lonely".

Lost our Horses, Black Riders came.
Wading through the marshes for weeks.
The rune on the stone said, that Gandalf aint dead
But then the Riders wouldn't leave us in peace

Walking through Middle Earth all the day,
Everyone suffering for me.
Last night the Pipin said,
"Oh boy, when you're dead
The ring will still be right in our hands - think!"
Made a lightning trip to Elrond,
Met Bilbo and the council was called.
The Dwarfs all said "We could do it instead,"
But the ring chipped their axes steel head.
Sam you know it ain't easy,

The Fellowship all got together
Bilbo told us he won't go back.
But then came the dwarf cave, us, Gandalf, he did save,
But then the Wizard fell to his death.
