----Let the bloodshed begin-------
Sometimes, he wonders why he lets him do this. It is, after all, contrary to everything he swears to.
Naruto knows that what he's doing is wrong, so wrong. In fact, how can he NOT stab him as he lies with Naruto, unguarded for a second.
Maybe it's because Itachi knows Naruto can't, won't and should kill him. It's just the type of brain-fucking Naruto expects from the older man. Whether Naruto ends up on the floor in tears, or at complete peace with the world after their encounters is merely up to Itachi's whim.
"Why haven't you taken me to wherever you kill jinchuuriki?" Naruto asked one day, drawing lazy patterns on the bed sheet as Itachi slipped into his shoes in a dancer like grace.
"Because I haven't been asked to. When it is time, I will Naruto-kun." Itachi responded, tossing his words over his shoulder like a courtier throwing coins to peasants.
In a way, Naruto loves how Itachi says his name so easily, the familiar suffix seems at home and Naruto gets more pleasure out of the those two words strung together more then ramen, training or sex. In a way, Naruto hates how Itachi can say his name like they're friends or even casual acquaintances. It's belittling, how even though Naruto knows Itachi will one day try to kill him, he acts so familiar with him.
That's the irony of the matter though, Naruto thinks. They fuck, they have sex (and it's great sex) but it's so distant and unattached to their partner.
At first, Naruto excused himself, saying that it might just be feelings left over from Sasuke. That since they look the same, the blonde boy was merely shoving his unrequited feelings onto a Doppelganger. But lying to yourself only works for a short time.
If it was that Naruto was shoving his feelings of love on Itachi instead of Sasuke, who deserved them, then why would he feel so complete after sex? Shouldn't he feel dirty, or something that comes from a trashy ten cent novel?
And since Naruto does love Sasuke (he still does, right?) shouldn't he kill Itachi or stop this charade of something.
He comes when it's dark, but for a ninja of his capability, Itachi could come as easily when it's noon.
The red gleaming eyes that seem to contain all of the bloodshed Itachi caused are the last things Naruto sees of his ... lover before he leaves at dusk.
Lover? Are they lovers?
Naruto knows being someone's lovers doesn't mean you love them. Just have sex, because it's an outlet or something like that.
But is sex the reason his sheets end up tangled and twisted or is just two people who can never be understood meeting, clashing and secretly hoping that they've met someone like them?
They don't get each other. But they don't have to know that until Itachi shows up on his doorstep with a smile in one hand and a kunai in another.
