Christmas Eve in Titan's Tower. Starfire, of course, had decorated the whole tower with various shiny objects and lengths of evergreen roping. It was getting later and they had finished watching all of the Christmas movies that Cyborg had picked out and finished listening to Robin read "The Night before Christmas".

Raven had retreated to her room and gotten changed into red pajama bottoms and a white top with holly embroidered on it. Stafire had insisted on getting every one Christmas pajamas. She was about to meditate when she heard a small knock on the door.

"Umm… Raven? It's me, Beast Boy." He sounded nervous like he usually did when he came to call.

Raven got up from her bed and opened the door a crack. Beast Boy was standing on the other side, wearing pajama's with pictures of green reindeer on them. He was holding a pillow and a green stuffed animal. "What is it? Shouldn't you be in bed or something?"

"Well, I… I was wondering if you would sit up with me tonight." He said nervously "It's dark and you like the dark so… I thought, maybe you wouldn't mind staying up with me. I want to wait up and see Santa."

Raven, being only a little older than Beast Boy, was never really told that there was no Santa. But, she had come to the conclusion on her own. She looked at Beast Boy's pleading green eyes and couldn't find the heart to tell him it was all a lie. "Fine, I'll wait up with you."

Raven grabbed a pillow off of her bed. Together, the two youngest Titans snuck down into the living room. They made sure to be quiet when they passed the three older children's rooms.

When they got down to the living room they put their stuff down on the couch. Beast Boy turned on the Christmas tree lights so it wasn't as dark.

Raven sat down in lotus position and started to meditate. Just because she was staying up with Beast Boy, waiting for Santa, didn't mean she could slack off with her meditation.

When she opened her eyes and came out of her trance she noticed Beast boy was sitting with his head resting on her side. He had nodded off, holding his stuffed toy close.

Raven got up and slid a pillow under his head. She went in the kitchen and started making some hot coco. When it was done she was carrying it back into the Living room when she heard a scream "RAVEN!" She started to run.

When she reached the source of the scream, aka Beast Boy, he leapt up from the couch and hugged her around the stomach almost making her spill the coco.

"Where did you go? I woke up and you weren't here anymore." He was upset and breathing heavy.

"I only went to make Hot Chocolate." She said as he pulled away to look at her. "I'm right here, why are you so afraid?"

"I… I don't like the dark…" He admitted blushing slightly.

"Well, it's nothing to be afraid of. I won't leave again." Raven sat down and handed him his coco.

The two of them finished the hot chocolate and then talked for a while. They sat under the tree and tried to stay awake. After a while, their eyes started to close and they soon fell asleep. Beast Boy ended up cuddled next to Raven, using her cloak as a blanket.

"Ho, Ho, Ho." They both woke with a start. They noticed they were surrounded with toys and presents. They turned just in time to see a man in a red suit filling their stockings.

"Santa!" Beast Boy said, his eyes filled with awe. Raven simply sat there, she was shocked.

And then, he was gone. Luckily, the children didn't notice that Santa was unusually bulky and had used jet boosters on his feet to get up the chimney.
