There are a few things you should now about our views on some of Shakespeare's plays before you read our poems. First of all, on Romeo and Juliet. It is to our belief that the reason why Rosalind (the girl Romeo is madly in love with at the beginning of the play, before he meets Juliet) turns Romeo down because she is in love with Benvolio. We also believe that the Prince and Tybalt are in love with Rosalind. We also think that Friar John is in love with Friar Lawrence, though Friar Lawrence doesn't love him back.
So, without further ado, here are three poems that can be found on the streets of fair Verona.
Ode to a Montague
Oh, Montague, you fiendish lad
Killing you really makes me glad
To see you dying in the street
Really is a wondrous feat.
-a Capulet
Zolo
Ode of Friar Lawrence
Montague, Capulet, please stop fighting
Your feud is only causing dying
-Friar Lawrence
Zolo
Ode to Friar Lawrence
I love you so much, I know it's bad
But you don't love me, it makes me sad
-Friar John
