The moment April awoke she knew something was wrong.

It was the morning, (Well... afternoon. But it felt like morning), after her fifteenth birthday and she was almost certainly hungover. Too much milk was never a good thing and a drinking contest had been held at her party the previous night. She had won and was now suffering the consequences.

It had been a great party. Since her birthday was in the summer, her friends from other houses had been allowed to join the festivities in her common room. The rowdy Gryffindor's, the clever Ravenclaw's, and the ridiculous Hufflepuff's when mixed together could definitely produce a good time.

Too bad the morning-after pains weren't nearly as fun. Anyone who said it was impossible to get drunk let alone hungover on milk had no idea what they were talking about.

Still, something wasn't right about this particular withdrawal. Normally the dairy hangover consisted of belly aches and bloating. April on the other hand felt rather tingly all over and it seemed as if her depth perception was all out of whack.

Slowly and steadily she stood up, knowing that any quick movements would most likely send her flopping back onto the sofa which had become her bed the night before.

Once on her feet, April surveyed her surroundings. She was in the Hufflepuff common room surrounded by bodies. It seemed her fellow students hadn't cared where they slept as long as they weren't on or under anyone else. Mostly. She saw that the Weasley twins and a few others had collapsed on top of each other and were snoring soundly. The only person not on the floor or draped over some piece of furniture was Luna Lovegood. April smiled at her friend sitting neatly in a chair, eyes shut, and breathing softly.

She walked over to a nearby window and threw open the curtains. The girl sighed contentedly as she basked in the heat of the summer sun. She could hear groans echoing behind her. Funny though, could she always reach that high?

"Ugh, close the- *gasp*!"

April turned to face the whiner. The voice had come from a fifth year Ravenclaw named Mona.

"Whats up? You piss yourself?"

Mona only gaped.

"Um...sorry but who? Why? Stripper?"

"Jeez, you're nothing in the morning without your coffee."

Suddenly scuffling and growls could be heard from the other side of the room. The Weasley's had awoken.

"Gerroff me!"

"Ow!"

"Hey!"

"Come on guys it's too early!" April scolded. They turned as if to launch a retort only to stare as Mona had.

God it was really starting to piss her off.

"WHAT? Shit, did someone draw on me while I was sleeping? What the hell are you staring at?"

Finally George found his voice.

"April? Is that? What the..." He looked positively dumbstruck.

Encouraged by his brother, Fred also spoke up.

"They do look similar in a way, but last I checked April was never so..." He moved his hands through the air in an hourglass formation. "Curvy."

April sighed. These guys were obviously beyond trashed. She wouldn't put it past them to have smuggled Firewhisky into their milk.

She was about to start shouting at them when she felt a strange sensation on the back of her neck. It was the prickling of hairs standing on end. She looked around and realized that everyone had been pulled from sleep by the row. They were now all staring at her with very puzzled and surprised looks on their faces. Only Luna was unfazed.

April watched as she slowly got up and retrieved a small mirror from a nearby cabinet. She then walked over and handed the thing to her very confused, (and irritated), friend.
