Silence

Disclaimer: I don't own any character of Gundam Wing.
Note- This was a character analysis for English and you will see what I was thinking about when I wrote it.
A tall, sinewy figure stands on the edge of a cliff gazing up at the night's starry brilliance. From the ocean
blows a chilling breeze that teases the young man's already disheveled, brown bangs, bangs that cover Prussian blue eyes
that are as cold and unfeeling as nature's elements. They look like ice while staring unblinking at the night sky. They
are the eyes of someone who had seen things that should never have been witnessed and experienced things that should have
never been done. Surrounding the young man is an aura of danger, though his stance and posture appear relaxed like that of
a person who doesn't have a care in the world.
A twig snaps causing the young man to swirl and pull a gun out of nowhere. As he tenses in readiness, cold eyes
slowly scan the area. Not a sound can be heard or a movement seen. Again his eyes study his surroundings while the hair
on the back of his neck prickles in agitation Once more he can't find anything. Knowing that he is not just hearing things,
he frowns while slowly turning to watch the stars anew. At this moment calmness is nowhere to be found. He seems as tense
as a spring stretched too far, ready to snap at any second. Hanging loosely from his hand, held with the grip of an expert,
is the gun.
Moments pass and another twig snaps, causing the young man to spin around and take aim at something that he cannot
see. Eyes narrow as he searches for the source of the sound. All that can be heard is silence.
Suddenly an illuminated figure appears out of the tree line and races towards the young man, running until she is
standing face to face with him. They stare at one another for endless minutes until the young man visibly relaxes and puts
his gun away. Shivering slightly, she grabs his hand. Not used to human contact, the young man tenses slightly. Looking
reassuringly up into his eyes, she senses all the tenseness drain out of him.
As if they read each other minds, they turn simultaneously with fingers still weaved together towards the ocean and
look up into the night sky, at the twinkling stars. Shivering again the young woman hugs herself tightly, fighting the cold.
Pondering what to do the young man looks down at her. As if his arms had minds of their own, they twine around her waist
pulling her back so that her head rests in the crook of his neck. Startled for a moment, she tenses then relaxes and leans
back against him. The two silent figures stand and stare at the horizon, a horizon that is starting to lighten with the
impending dawn.
Can you guess who they are?
