Here it is for the one and only time: I don't own Red Vs Blue. I only own the idea.
Chapter One: Hello Theta and Goodbye Grif.
Theta was scared. He was pushed back into the deepest part of the Epsilon unit by his older brother, Sigma. The rest of the A.I. were taken over by the insane A.I. and he was next. He looked around on the floor and found a battle rifle, somehow, picked it up, checked the clip like he saw his friends do so many times in the past and aimed it at Sigma with shacking hands, trying to keep it leveled.
"Just accept your fate and join me, Theta."
"N-no! Y-you won't get me Sigma!"
"And what, praytell, will you do with that rifle? You don't even know how to use it."
"I-I have to try something." He half-shouts as he fires off three rounds at Sigma, only for the bullets to pass right through him.
Holding back a laugh, he tells the youngest A.I.: "I told you. Now, give in."
From outside, they hear "STAB!" as both A.I. flicker for a second.
"Sigma," Theta calls out as he looks at the insane A.I. "If we both are destroyed, so be it." As soon as Sigma triesd to grab hold of Theta a portal opens up and a voice speaks to them both from the void. "Theta, walk through the portal." Both A.I. remember the voice, it's belongs to their oldest brother, Delta.
"Delta? Where are you?"
"Don't worry about me or the rest of us, just go before Sigma takes you too. Go Now!" Delta yells as Sigma close's in on Theta. Without looking back he runs towards the portal and jumps.
As Theta exited the Epsilon unit he landed on the front half of his... Human body? He had short wild black hair, purple eyes, ligth-skin, wore a light blue hoodie with pockets, a pair of grey shorts and red boots. The Battle Rifle was lying next to him as Caboose spoke to him. "Hello little boy. I am Caboose, what is your name?"
"Uh, Caboose, I think he's out cold."
Looking back at Church he replies with: "Well of course he's out cold, it's very cold out here and it's snowing."
"[Sigh], Never mind Caboose. Just help me get him turned over so he can breath."
"Okay."
"Hey, Meta... settle a bet, would ya? Does that kind of look like a big cat to you?" Sarge asked as he attached the Warthog's towing cable to the Meta's chestplate.
"Come on, push, Grif!" Simmons yelled at his friend.
"I *am* pushing!" He complains.
As the Meta gets dragged Sarge romoves the Epsilon unit and is released at the same time. As the Meta reaches the edge of the cliff he grabs Grif by his left leg.
"Woah..." He shouts in shock as he's dragged along with the Meta.
"Grif!" Simmons shouts as he just manages to grab hold of Grif's right hand just in time while the Meta is thrown over the edge into the freezeing ocean below.
As his fingers begin to slip from the cliff's edge Grif speaks to his best friend one last time. "Simmons, take the Meta's weapon, remember me and name your first born son after me."
"Just hang on Grif, just a little longer, please. I've almost got you." He begged.
"Hey Simmons, you ever wonder why we're here?" He asked as his left hand fell from the edge as Simmons tried to keep hold of Grif's right hand.
"It's one of life's great mysteries isn't it?" He asked as their hands started to grow farther apart.
"Just let me go Simmons, save yourself." He said as he chocked back a sob.
"I can't do that Grif. Your my best friend."
"Keep those moments of us being friends alive."
Feeling their grasp about to break the maroon armor colored soilder promised his closest friend: "I will. For you Grif."
"Good. Bye Simmons, see you in Heaven or Hell. You know, which ever comes first." Grif said as he fell down into the water.
"Goodbye Grif." Simmons said as Sarge, the Blues, Doc and Wash watched the man pick up the driven mad ex-Freelancer's weapon, place it on his back and walk over to the group.
And so after the rest of the stuff that we know happened minus the gang stealing a Pelican and Doc analyzing the now human A.I. they were on their way to Valhalla.
Theta himself was still asleep. Simmons on the other hand was quiet and it worryed the rest of the group.
"So Doc..." Wash said from the cock-pit.
"Yeah Wash?"
"That kid awake yet?"
"Hmmm... Nope. He's still out like a light."
"Who is he again?"
"Don't know. Caboose said that he came from the Epsilon unit." Everybody else minus Simmons and Caboose look at him and says: "WHAT!?" at the same time.
"Why didn't you tell us?" Tucker asked.
"Nobody asked."
"That's a pretty fucking big thing not to ask about." Sarge said.
"Bow Chika Bow Wow."
"How are you doing Simmons?" Caboose asked the saddened soilder.
Looking up and at the cobalt armor colored soilder he said, "fine." in a low voice that slightly scared Caboose before looking at the floor again.
"We're almost there guys." Wash said as they began the desent onto the planet.
"Don't worry Simmons, your pals i'll help ya." Doc said as he put a hand on his shoulder.
"great." He said in the same tone.
"Simmons, I might not know what your going through right now but let me tell you this: You've got us. We'll help you through this ordeal." Sarge said.
"We're about to land. T-minus twenty seconds."
"When we land I'll run a full scan on the kid." Doc told the group. "He needs help and only I can give it to him."
"Or a real doctor could help him." Tucker said as he, Sarge, Wash, and Doc himself laughed at the remark.
"Three. Two. One. Pelican door opening guys." Wash said as the door opened and the group exited the ship. Wash carried Theta and Simmons walked at a pace that could not even get past a crawl.
"Hello guys!" Donut said as he and Lopez walked up to the group. "So, how was the trip? Did you get rid of that mean old Meta?"
"How the Hell are you alive? I shot you point blank in the heart." Wash said as he questioned the logic behind his past actions.
"I was lucky enough to be near a small bag of cheese snacks. I ate the whole bag and felt better."
"'This is what happened for once.'" Lopez said.
"Well I wanna say that I'm sorry for shooting you Donut."
"Oh it's okay Wash. It's all in the past and now, we can be friends." He says right before he see's Theta in Wash's arms. "Awww, who's this little guy?" Donut asks the ex-Freelancer as he get's a better look at the A.I. turned human.
"We don't know. All we do know is that he came from the Espilon unit."
"So he's an A.I.?"
"That's what we think."
"But I thought that an A.I. couldn't be a human?" Tucker asked.
"That's what I thought until he came through the unit."
"Maybe, he will become our new friend!" Caboose said.
"Hmmmmm." Theta murmurs as he wakes up slowly. "He's wakeing up." Donut said as Wash sat Theta down on the ground. "What happened?"
"Easy there kid. I'm Agent Washington. What's your name?"
"Wash? It's really you!" Theta said as he hugged the ex-Freelancer. "It's me, Theta." After hearing his name the whole group, even Simmons, gasps at the news. "Where's the Meta and Sigma?" He asked as they stopped hugging.
"Gone."
"Good. They were bad beings."
"Theta, how did you exit the Espilon unit?"
"Delta helped me. He opened a portal and I jumped through it."
"Well that's a shocker worth the ages." Wash said as they stood up.
"i'm going to bed." Simmons said as he went inside Red base.
"What's wrong with Simmons? And where's Grif?"
"Grif dead." Sarge said.
"What?"
"'What?'"
"The Meta got him. He saved Simmons before he died."
"How did he die?"
"He fell off a cliff and into the ocean."
"Poor Sister. We gotta tell her about this."
"We will later. Right now, we gotta help Simmons through this." Sarge said as he, the rest of the Reds and Doc went inside leaving Wash, Theta and the rest of the Blues alone.
"Come on Theta, let's get you settled in at Blue base." Wash said as he led the A.I. turned human to Valhalla's other base.
SHould I keep this going or stop here? Please let me know. Thanks for reading.
